What is the difference between boundedness theorem and extreme value theorem

In a closed interval, if a function is continuous, then according to • BOUNDEDNESS THEOREM: there will be some m and M which will be the minimum and maximum values of that function, hence making the function bounded. • EXTREME VALUES THEOREM: those minimum and maximum values will at least once be obtained in the given interval in which the function is continuous.
