I love these videos! 💕💕💕I usually give it a like before I even start watching them. 😊 Please never stop making them! It's so beautiful over there. I wish I could spend a year in Scotland once in my life. I would love to see at least some of these places in real. (Most likely I will never make it, but 🤞🤞🤞🤞) Until then, I watch and re-watch your amazing videos! Thank you! 💕

I'm not sure if you have been up to Caithness yet but it is well worth a visit. We have wonderful, huge skies as a consequence of it being generally flatter here than elsewhere in the north. Add in the staggering seascapes and you have a fantastic landscape for art and photography. As with all of Scotland the weather can be very changeable and is often quite windy. Even in the height of summer and with a clear, blue, cloudless sky there is always an underlying freshness but you will get a warm welcome.

Absolutely beautiful. And you bring up interesting talk about the energy and focus expended on "seeing/finding" photos/videos to shoot. And yet, don't we all expend that sort of energy on our "work" of whatever nature that is whether with an employer who pays us money or an "employer" who is more spiritual. Oh the Bealach Cafe ... oh my I want one of everything I see! :-)

Brings back great memories of a trip to Applecross. We stayed in a local B&B and walked down to the Inn for dinner. We had amazing langoustine. I don’t recall seeing any deer, but it was a long time ago. Hope to get back to Scotland soon.

Did you visit the broch at the campsite. It was a Time Team dig, which was a brilliant archeology program on Channel 4, at one time. At 9:57 when you're driving west through Lochcarron the small hill where the boats are moored is Slumbay Island, only an Island on extremely high tides.

Hi, Sarah. Is there ever a time of the year where the weather in Appecross is more mild? It’s so lovely there! Thank you for sharing your vacation. It’s still hot here on the coast of California.
@sarahinscotland3 жыл бұрын
In my experience its been a rollercoaster every time we've visited. I've gone in autumn and spring mostly to avoid crowds and midges. Some years the weather is perfect and others it's super wild!
@lilyannepaints3 жыл бұрын
@@sarahinscotland Midges! They sound horrible! I’m trying to convince my family we need to go there for Spring break, which is first week of April. Will there be midges?

There is one thing I notice I'm reacting to in all videos about Scotland and UK, the woods aren't big compare to our woods, almost no growth. It must have been strange when You visited Sweden and in particular the northern parts.

I don't know I was only there in winter and didn't see much
@ann-marielofberg11593 жыл бұрын
@@sarahinscotland It's more woods (different kind of trees, mostly fur and pine), than houses, roades, villages. Miles after miles wide. The woods are a big part of Swedens incomes and have been for many hundred years.

The PNW is probably the closest feeling you could get to Scotland because of weather. Scotland is basically an oceanic climate with temperate rainforests
