I really appreciate the work the USCSB does, but I think it's worth mentioning that the 6 trailers shown parked together and burning were deliberately set aflame as part of a controlled burn by emergency responders, since they had not yet combusted as expected.

I appreciate your editor and the outro music was awesome! I wanted to say thank you as a worker not necessarily related to your trades. Your videos give good advice and reminders on what a normal worker can sometimes do. They remind me to think one more step further. I work in an industry that has improved due to technology (printing) and i work with old school people who figure they lived through the more toxic days why take precautions now... Sigh. It's nothing earth shattering but wearing and having hearing protection or using less toxic chemicals. I am shocked though how normal it is not to prep for problems and I appreciate your encouragement to do so. I have just found as I have grown older the normal is not to plan or want too.

I used to work with the business continuity team at a call center and they had detailed plans in place to deal with the dangers of extreme weather such as flooding and blizzards. If a call center can put plans and risk assessments in place, what's stopping these industrial scale operations where the concequences of failure are far greater?

Pretty sure they did one on the West, Texas fertilizer plant explosion that was caught on at least 3 smartphones at shockingly close range maybe 8-10 years ago. It was quite similar to Beirut but definitely much smaller. Still it absolutely obliterated the school and nearby neighborhoods. The cool thing is Google Street View was captured immediately after the disaster and you can explore all the buildings on the verge of collapse. (At least when I checked it a year or so ago). The blast was powerful enough to bend & love the railroad tracks about 15 feet to the side, purely from the force of the shockwave, I’ve never seen anything like that.
