They are getting harder and harder to find around my area. They're still out there, but just getting harder to find.

I have owned Volvo's for over 40 years and I have had them start at outside ambient temperatures all the way down to -40 degrees. That is without the block heater plugged in. You probably don't even have many vehicles with block heaters where you live.

I’m honestly not sure because in my lifetime, I’ve never seen it go into negative temperatures. The closest to zero I’ve seen is 5 or 3 degrees Fahrenheit.

@@morganevans7269 You're a lucky man! lol When I bought my '77 264GL in '79 the first thing I did was install a Volvo block heater. Much needed where I live. All the rest of my Volvos had block heaters installed right from the factory. Most cars here do.
