I like them both. Can’t afford them but like them both.

OMG this ages me. I'm British and Quinton has "never heard" of Johnny and Roseanne Cash??? The USA has such a fine legacy of country artists and these two are musical icons! Still love you to bits tho', Q! This reminds me when a famous British TV chef (Keith Floyd) did a televised cooking tour across America. On reaching South Louisiana, Keith asked a local band to play the well known Hank Williams' song "Jambalaya". They told him they'd never heard of that either!! As for the guitars, you got to hand it to Gibson. Still making fine guitars to suit all.

He was being facetious. It is impossible to live in America and not know who Johnny Cash is.

@@TheSoundWeaver78 Maybe. But I live in a country where younger folk don't even know what the Battle of Britain was.

Hilarious that on this Gibson focused video that Paul is wearing a Martin shirt! 😂

I like the sound 😂of Roseanne 's 185. I have found necks on most SJ-200s unfavorable for my wounded fretting hand. They both sound great in Quinton's capable hands. Thanks Paul and Quinton!

That J-185 is gorgeous! One of the two original J-200s made for Johnny Cash is on display at the Johnny Cash museum in Memphis. It looks identical to this.

Very Cool but Dang I wanted to hear it strummed HARD!!! (yeah I know/mic diaphragm) but I’ll keep looking elsewhere and maybe find someone strumming the pieces out of it! I just wanna hear what it sounds like when JR would hold it up to the Ribbon Mic and slam the strings like in GET RHYTHM etc (You played the Stapleton Frontier and I went right out and bought one at the GC in Nashville. They only had one. They had to mail it from Tx. Luv it and it’s a 💯 keeper!! I’d go crazy for this J200 if I can hear it slamming Loud….

I can't help it, but when i see those big red guitars with double pickguards, i'm reminded of Roy Rogers. I grew up in Kalamazoo, so of course Gibson is a guitar to aspire to, but the big mustache bridges or the upside down bridges always bothered me. Seems like a pair of boots on the pickguard and some rope around the edges would be appropriate. They sound like a Gibson, but they look like a stageshow. Just my opinion. Pick on.

Do they make a model with the “CASH” displayed ONLY on the truss rod cover? Semper Fi

Don't tell me Quinton doesn't know who Johnny Cash is. I'm not a country fan, but the guy was and is a legend! Always impressed by Quinton's playing, but can't believe he doesn't know such a giant of country music with crossover hits.

Beautiful instruments. I am at the point in my appreciation of acoustic guitars for a minimal pickguard as opposed to the larger pickguard of the Johnny Cash J-200. They both look quite striking.

You Can try an Iris AB model, not as much bling, but great tone. Close to or better than an old Gibson.
