I agree I have a w900l with a c16 725hp swapped out the c15 work with my uncle in the family business he has a white w9 with a 6nz I love it I drive it sometimes

Sweet. I just had my beast on the dyno and she spit out 638horses. I'm satisfied with that, my hearing is low enough that not too many drivers are gonna give me a run for the money. A local grain hauler has an immaculate day can w900 with a legitimate 1200horses out of a c16 that's been all but completely rebuilt for performance. I happened to be coming home on rt. 80 the other weekend and he was coming up behind me. Mind you, I have a truck that most envy, and this guy passed me while I was empty, and was pulling away like I was sitting still. I could feel the road shake when that monster was spewing out coal next to me. Cheers.

THEY ARE JUST SO FUCKING GOOD!!! Love it! As for the loudest? No. Any Detroit 2 stroke is much louder than ANY 4 cycle diesel. Period. Detroit holds the loud title and perhaps; depending on who you ask the best sounding too.

ya your definitely right the engine are SO CRAP according to veteran drivers; TO MUCH EMISSION CONTROL ADDED ON; very knowledgeable drivers say buy older engines. less complications, easier to fix on.

DETROIT: SERIES 60 AND THE OLDER V8 ENGINES ARE THE BEST 3.MACK- NOT SURE OF ;BUT PRETTY SURE LESS EMISSION CONTROLS THE BETTER 4. CATERPILLAR: 6NZ, 3406E, 3406B, 7CZ, THE MXS (WITH EMISSION CONTROLS REMOVED; OR 6NZ OR 3406= CONFIGURATION) THOSE ARE THE BEST ENGINES I'VE LEARNED AND STUDIED FROM (PERSONAL AMUSEMENT).

ALSO FOR CUMMINS ENGINES THE BEST ARE: *CELECT PLUS OR PLUS 400HP+ *BIG CAM 444 *BIG CAM 400 *KTA 600 (THE BEST CUMMINS ENGINE I HEARD) *250 CAM *855 CU IN (don't really know to much about this engine in particular pretty sure its famous for something)

Actually Massabesic has nothing to do with the project it self, the company is using the schools property to store it's equipment, pipes, trench boxes, etc on. The project is adding an additional water main underneath the road that the truck pulled out on to.

Oh that wasn't that loud. When they we're paving my street we had this Mac granite dump truck that was probably the loudest one I've ever heard. It had an original Mac engine and this thing was so loud that you could hear it all the way from one end of the street to the other. And when it stopped to help out with the intersection where I was sitting it was about 10 to 15 dB louder than the other six dump trucks that were dumping the sand mix
