You are correct about Trendy Tresses hair not being able to split. You have to spray it with water/conditioner mix first and then it splits perfectly.

When you said " trust the company" I soo felt that. I have been wearing crochet for almost two years ( I go to a hairdresser, I can barely hold a comb) and as the install was complete, I'd start to fret over it, play in it, product it. I have learned that you can't simply braid and weave, it does require measuring, shaping and skill. Develop your skill or help hairdresser do so and the hair will be fine. Great advise and you always do such a beautiful job. You inspired my wand curl coming up!

Hey when I do my clients hair With curly crochet hair I use mouse or a water bottle with water and conditioner before I split it I spray it good one peice at a time and just lay the pre split hair in a neat pile just a tip and you slayed the whole style especially the cutting 😩👌🏾

If you do a leave out around the perimeter then you can pull it all up. I have it all up now, but I had to wear a headband to high the back braids. It's still cute though! At night I just twist the hair in about 5 braids.

The only thing I don't like about a lot of crochet hair is sometimes it looks too thick and unnatural. The last time i did crochet i spent a while in the mirror trying to trim it down to a natural look, especially since my head is so small.. idk maybe i should find a different braiding pattern that doesn't make it look so huge lol😂😂
