About what you told that disrespecting people for doing their job has now become a thing, that trend just keeps increasing as people think that it's "cool" to be disrespectful. Many students in my school didn't even respect the teachers who were literally just doing their job and some teachers were actually so nice. Oh, this reminds me so much of the time that I was on a jury as forewoman. We, the jury, found the defendant guilty of all charges-three felony and two misdemeanors involving guns and drugs. When the trial is over, as a show of thanks for service, the jury is allowed to leave first. We stood up and …. Let’s just say a huge bolt of fear ran through me. This woman in the back got up and started screaming and yelling and stomping her feet. A toddler could not have pitched a louder, more petulant, and definately not as terrifying a fit as this full grown woman did. It was like she just went insane on the spot, and I was very willing to guess at that point that she was a family member of the defendent. Fortunately the judge had none of it. He points his finger directly at her and yells “Get her out of my court room! I told her she wouldn’t do this again!” So officers took her out and we finally got to leave. But it quickly occurred to me how the judge said what he said. “ I told her she wouldn’t do this again.” Which means she had to be acting up while the jury was deliberating. (Remember, the jury rooms are soundproof, so we wouldn’t have heard it.). Still blows my mind to this day. 😳

Although this may be an unpopular opinion, I think that some of these judges are quite unfair. Just to call months in prison to be sentenced to or thousands of dollars to be paid like they’re nothing is a little bit outrageous. Like the clip where the judge just calls out 30 days! 60 days! 90 days! 120 days! In a matter of seconds like it’s nothing. I just feel like it’s a bit harsh. At that point the judges aren’t even deciding based off they’re case, at that point it’s just based off they’re mood or if they think the person is being disrespectful or not. That’s not fair, but thats just my opinion.

I think that they are being disrespectful and rude but I dont think they should be able to extend their sentece just because they someone is being rude. I mean, adding 6 YEARS to someones sentence just because they yelled at you? or 30 extra das for talking back. Even if their crime was fitting of those extra six years or extra days, their prison sentences should only be based only on the crime they did, not what they do or say at court, unless its of course threats or violence. I totally agree with you. In both of my previous and new schools, student call teachers by their names instead of saying sir or mam. We have an offensive and rude English teacher in my previous school, but I don't think because of her bad behaviour she shouldn't be called by her name, because afterall she's our teacher

My father is a judge actually, and Ik how much he has to face. Like sometimes there could not be held any charges against someone and the person kept swearing so he got 2:months in jail.
