For example, if she's a flight risk, then setting a bond amount of $5,000 when she owns $50,000-worth of jewelry, houses, cars, etc. etc., then it wouldn't deter her from not appearing on her court date. Someone like that has been intoxicated for a while... A few days isn't going to clean her up at all. Might be out of her blood.., though not her brain by then.
