AI will never replace physical labor like this. No one who is working with AI is even trying to make it replace this kind of labor. Why would they? It's cheaper to have a person do it and just underpay them. No, they'd rather have AI taking over the creative fields and regurgitating the same plagiarized, barely-passable garbage over and over and over, stealing from actual writers and artists and putting things that humans put their heart and soul into through a blender so they can't claim copyright on it, and spitting that back out to oversaturate the market. It doesn't matter if the stories and images suck and make very little money, because they can pump out thousands in the time it takes a person to make one or two GOOD pieces. They'll bury the actual work in garbage and people will buy the garbage because they think that's all there is. Then the people controlling the AI make money with the least bit of effort, and who cares that they're screwing over other people, stealing their work and selling trash, as long as they get their money? Making AI do work like this, the kind of work that machines should be doing to preserve human health and safety, would be expensive and take effort. Making plagiarism bots that just steal the works of others, puts it through a blender and sells it cheap is much easier and has a wider profit margin. With the current crop of AI tech bros, humans will never be the ones lounging around with the time to be creative and enjoy our lives while robots do the hard, dirty work for us. No, we're going to be the ones out in the fields and in the factories, while robots are writing stories and music and creating 'art' that all looks and sounds exactly the same because they're recycling the same things they stole over and over and over.
