hello again, pierre! this is my *8th Life Log* and i gotta say, thank god the audio doesn't glitch as much as your camera did. even with all the camera bugs, (though to be honest they look really cool to me, but again, that's probably just me...) your ASMR is still some of my favorite on this platform and as much as i miss the weekly uploads, the wait is still 100% worth it! as for me, i've been getting way deeper into coding recently! i've been messing with godot and i'm experimenting with it by making a little RPG type game with the engine! so far all i really have down is player movement, it's still a very early WIP. but i did manage to make most of the important sprites for the player character, and i've come up with a few concepts that i'm excited to implement into the game, so that's fun! once i get done with all the overworld stuff, i'm going to be really excited to start working on the battle system and conceptualizing stuff for that when i get around to it... but that's not for a while. i've still got a lot to go in terms of anything in the overworld, lol. i also (finally) got my driver's license! as much as i still loathe actually driving, (it's very stressful for me and i get very anxious in traffic,) it's a necessary evil where i live because otherwise i can't really get anywhere on foot (or bike, for that matter) and so i can actually go somewhere that isn't the rural place that i'm in! yay! i plan on looking into doing maybe online college sometime soon, but i'm also thinking of getting a job soon (probably part-time if i manage to get into a college) so i can start making some more consistent money. i have pretty much everything else now. all that was really holding me back was the license, but now i can really start looking around and get a job for myself. i'm not going to be picky, but just know that if i find a job during night-shift hours i'm taking it in a heartbeat LOL. i can't stand working on anything but my passion projects in the morning, i found that out for myself a long time ago in school when i used to spend time during classes sketching stuff out for stuff i wanted to do instead of paying attention like i should have LMAO anyways that's all i have to write for today. i'm going to finish up getting the dialogue system implemented for my game tonight before i go to bed. bye! :3

(a *8th Life Log Addendum,* if you will...) the rpg game is going well! i'm learning more and more about GDScript (the programming language of godot) and i'm slowly getting better at it. i just cranked out the dialogue system i was working on yesterday and animated some of the dialogue system elements! i plan on expanding the scope of the system better to allow for character specific boxes and a second character portrait. then once i get those in, i'll probably implement a way to set the "mode" that the dialogue boxes are in, so they switch to the appropriate style of box and darken the portrait of a character who might not be talking. hopefully it doesn't end up being too complicated, but i can kind of imagine how to do it in my head, so i think i can get it done before tonight lol.

That's a great life log. Thanks for sharing it! I haven't driven a car for years. Haha. But it is helpful sometimes... As for my camera glitches, they were really bad. I had to reencode the original file several times in order to get something I could work with. Encoding to mkv was the solution to remove most of the glitches... I had some time today so I recorded another video that should be posted soon! :)
