How can this be fake? You can clearly see the discoloration on white plastics where rust spots were, the controller port board still has bit of rust residue on ground pad... The only part that could be faked is the last part where he showed it running. But still I don't see why would he fake it. When there is a bit of rust on mother that doesn't automaticly mean the motherboard is doomed.

Why would he fake it? For the ad revenue, duh. He is swapping to another Saturn after pretending to plug the console in and the camera cuts. Real repair videos don't have any cuts in them. They are all one long take to prove that none of it is faked. His Gameboy video was debunked too. Somehow deep scratches disappear after he does the Retrobrite process. That's an obvious shell swap because whitening plastics do not remove or fill in scratches at all.

It's fake because THAT is a Japanese unit. When booted up at the end it has the US bios, English options in the CD menu is the give away. He may have attempted to restore but it's fake, no doubt. @@ZanRudolfDSM

Why fake it and not just do the best you can with the actual original unit?

Why does everyone say it‘s fake?? You can see immediately that all parts have been cleaned and prepared! The only scene i didn‘t film was spraying the metal parts with silver rim spray.
