That is some connection in the Brookes blade entry. So good of the Brookes cox to let the crew off "tiers" of lactate pain for doing such a good job.

What do you mean by letting them off the pain?

@@kaushikdrbecause they were up by a fair distance the cox decided they didn’t need to bring in heavy racing tiers to take them over the line first. Even though you’re already really sore by that point in the race, taking the rate up/increasing pressure is going to hurt much more.

I feel like they should do this at official races, during the race. I feel like this crosses the 'boredom' barrier of watching an entire rowing comp, this (for me) is comparable to watching football tbh.
