What was the adapter that you used to attach the Canon mic holder that came with the C70 to a cold shoe? I know on the KB plate you can screw it on the side but it looks like you have it more on top which is better as it doesn’t stick out so far. Thanks!
@slozinsky19 күн бұрын
Solved it - I see the c70 comes with a cold shoe clamp for the mic mount. I just got the C80 and was wondering why I couldn’t mount it in the same way. Turns out the C80 doesn’t come with the cold shoe clamp for some reason.

It doesn't?!? That's so dumb, it's the most useful bit of kit they have in the box outside of the actual camera body hahaha

Interesting how so many of these rowers have so much tension in their arms and hands. Those same rowers show an extreme break in their wrists as they feather. Who gets it right here - mostly the women.

Pretty much! I’ve been a huge rowing and camera nerd since I was 16 and I’ve been recently building my idea to create The Rowing Network, my sport’s version of the Global Cycling Network and Lacrosse Network, in order to create a more sustainable venture.

@@EamonGlavin Amazing! Thanks for the reply! Loving your content. Fellow C70 shooter here and it's always fun to see how other people rig up their cage. I also have the battery problem where it just sticks out super far haha. Lame!

Hello Eamon, beautiful row session! I'm curious about your rowing gear and boat, how much does it cost and what brand and model is it? Looks beautiful and very slick. Have you thought about making a video about rowing gear and boats for beginners and recreational use? Thanks, congrats!

If you lose a race at Henley - you never forget it.. This film exemplifies how special is Henley - just lots of very simple things done very well, in a lovely setting, for 150 years.. the greatest athleticism.. rowing is open to anyone, and the person who pulls hardest (nearly) always wins.. there is almost no 'equipment advantage' of any kind.. See the photos of the thousands of small boats that joined in along the banks in the 1880s, the Great Edwardian era. Yes, Oxford Brookes is the most social of all academic clubs, by far. In the 2000 Sydney Olympics final it was a Brit 8 that got gold - manned mostly by a young crew from Brookes, read up about it.. England invented the modern world, and sport, too.
