Boosted Performance. If you're looking to squeeze a little extra power out of your Jeep, this Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer will be a tremendous help. The idea behind this mod is that it will spin the air as it enters your engine intake. This has the effect of allowing more air to enter the cylinders, which in turn leads to a power increase. You probably shouldn't expect a huge difference, but you might notice slightly better fuel economy, a quicker throttle response, or better top-end horsepower. Use this throttle body spacer on any 2007 to 2011 Jeep Wrangler JK with the 3.8-liter engine.
Quality Build. You get a really high-quality product, considering this throttle body spacer is made of aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum. As a result, it's very strong and lightweight. A red anodized finish looks good, plus it keeps the aluminum from oxidizing. All the necessary hardware comes included.
Easy to Install. Even though this is technically a mod you install on the engine, which might intimidate some people, it's actually an incredibly easy upgrade to put on. Anyone can do it in their driveway in about an hour. Just have basic hand tools for the job, such as sockets, a screwdriver, etc.

If it works like a carbureted engine, it increases plenum volume and gives you about 200 rpm on the top end so that’s what if anything, you get.

Hmm I don't think by adding a 3/16 spacer is going to really add more volume. I would say the baffling it's going to fold the air and cause turbulence in the plenum in turn you'll have greater air/fuel mixture. Add this in with 12 hole injectors... Hmmm 🤔

Where's the dyno comparison? I made an exhaust vortex spacer... it'll spin your exhaust gases, forcing them to come out faster releasing more HP and TQ.

It doesn't necessarily spin the air, it looks like it folds it like kneading dough. May get one for my 3.6 and try it. It looks like it causes turbulence to be introduced into the air intake. Doing this would cause better air fuel mixture.

@ElevatedVehicles I honestly didn't notice much, it certainly didn't hurt with a snorkel installed, and it gave it a little bit of sound out front. But I sold my jeep 6 months ago to Volunteer in Ukraine, still over here lol. for the cost, it's not really worth it. if your setup is struggling for air, it can help a tiny bit.

Anyone who owns a JT 3.6 knows the stutter off the file when towing or hauling. It doesnt happen all the time but it does happen, a complaint among owners. This will eliminate it, never had a stutter since and the truck cruises a part throttle smoother. Dyno runs on the newer 3.6L (PUG) with it improved intake design does show improved torque (around 6tq in the mid range). These spacers vary vehicle to vehicle. My JK 3.8, all it did was make noise. Btw my JT with Mishimoto intake makes zero whistling.

Has anybody actually seen a dyno report where throttle body spacer did add usable HP and Torque? I've and haven't found any unless it was by someone actually selling the spacer.

Yes a guy with a 3.6L posted back to back runs. It made zero peak power or torque gains but made 6tq in the mid range and 5hp in the mid range

Hello " X T ~ I did enter the contest I'm not to good at this tect on phone and I don't have a computer or wifi If I win I would like. 5 20 x 9.5" rims steely gray And A/ T TIRES and a tire carrier I do have 35x12.50r20 - M / S tires now they were on the jeep when I got it To nosesy and my transportation is shifting problems only when it's to warm ?? I tried a superchip pack speed O and shifting it still off I do have a 5 year warranty 🙄 seam the dealer ship don't like the idea to fixing it because it was Altered before I bought it I said I didn't alternator it

It honestly makes the system worse. If it were a carb you would see a gain in hp, because it combines the fuel and air more. These do nothing but make the air travel farther to get cylinders.

It's not for additional distance in the plenum! The ridges on the sides fold the air much in the way of how one would "knead bread" in doing this you're inducing a turbulence in the intake and hence better air fuel mixture. Simple add-on if that's the science behind it.
