Wide Body Stance. Give your 1996-2006 TJ Wrangler a fresh, aggressive look with a set of Rugged Ridge All Terrain Fender Flares. Bolting to the same place as the original flares, these pocket-style All Terrain flares extend out 6” for an aggressive stance in addition to providing increased tire coverage and a reduction in road spray. The included stainless steel hardware provides a subtle contrast to the flares and will not rust and Rugged Ridge includes weather stripping to be installed between the body and the flare. Priced under $300, these All Terrain Flares are also a great replacement option if your existing flares are damaged or cracked.
Fade Free Thermoplastic. Rugged Ridge All Terrain Fender Flares are made from a durable impact resistant thermoplastic. These flares arrive from Rugged Ridge unpainted in the natural black matte finish of the plastic. Treated with a UV-retardant coating that will keep them from fading in the sun, many owners like this look and leave them as is. If not, they can be painted to match the body of your 1996-2006 Wrangler.
Factory Replacement. The hardest part of doing this job is removing the factory fender flares. Once they are off, the All Terrain flares mount back using the same bolt locations. Anticipate spending 3 hours to get all the new flares installed on your Wrangler. No special tools are needed.

Im not understanding how they will mount up when there is thay lip om the back top portion. Why is it not flat all the way along back top side like factory ones?

I just bought a Jeep with these flares and the back right flare isn't symmetrical with the back left. the back right gets rubbed by the front of the rear tire. is there any way to adjust the flare so that the tire doesn't rub the flare?

Spacey Casey is it lifted Jeep or stock height . If it’s stock might consider lifting it .

Will they fit a TJ Rubicon without trimming around the factory rocker guards? Thanks in advance.

Hey Andrew, you should be fine running these with the Factory Rocker guards! If you look closely in the video you can see the dirt outline of where the factory flares were, and the Rugged Ridge flares line up almost exactly where they were. It may be a little tighter of a gap between the Rocker Guards and the Flare but you should be fine! -Jake

So how to you break the nutsert so that you can replace it, or how do you remove them?

Generally you can drill them out and push them into the tub to replace it with a new one.
