How to extrude polygon components, such as faces and edges, along a NURBS curve in Maya.
1. Create a curve
2. Extrude a polygon face or edge along the curve by selecting the polygon component and then shift-select the curve, then Shift-Right-click Extrude.
3. To make the extrusion smoothly follow along the curve, add subdivisions in the channel box extrude operation.
4. Use the Taper value to make the end of the extrude thin/thick.
