First time I can hear the altos !! Loved it ... and the bases .. very well balanced and tuned. !! Well executed.

The freshness and enthusiasm, apart from the extreme musicality of the performance, is really uplifting. I noted also the performance without scores and the alternating of the men and women which means that every singer must know their part very well. I love as well the individual relationship of each singer with the conductor , and the mood portrayed by each singer as the piece progresses.

@drwcfields By Alessandro Scarlatti (1660-1725). Dr. Eklund told us we were honoring the 350th year of the composer's birth. And it was Eklund's performance edition.

Quindi è così il tempo giusto? 😱 Noi la cantiamo un po' più lenta, ma forse perché non siamo così giovani.

Bravo! I had never seen/heard an american choir sing a latin piece like you do. Usually english accent makes latin language seems awfull. Congratulations from Portugal!
