Another reason to get 4wd is for heavier riders. I have the exway flex and it does great for me, but sometimes I wish I had the power to accelerate faster up hills or even to ride through grass or on dirt roads/uneven roads

One other point to your 4wd vs 2wd is that you cant really pick up and drag a 4wd board. That was essentially the reason why I converted my 4wd to a 2wd, its great to just be able to put a handle on the motor side and just roll it around.

The problem is that all motors are getting the same amperage which is stupid, I think Exway is the only board where different amperage can be set for the front and back, which is essential on a 4 wheel drive, is that not possible to do in the app? Depending on the overall power and rider's weight, you need up to less than half of power in the front comparing to the back, otherwise you get a front wheel slip. Also the steeper the hill the more power needs to be in the rear. When you go uphill and you add offroad to it, a 4wd with same power in front and rear becomes worse than having just a 2wd because the front wheels will constantly slip and when you don't have traction control, the board becomes useless like that. I don't understand how manufacturers can make such a mistake after selling boards for years. There are certain things that all more expensive and faster boards need to have adjustable, ramping times (how fast the board reacts to your remote's throttle and brakes) motor amperage, battery amperage and power limit when you are reaching top speed, so the board starts lowering down the power , then you don't get the jerk you were talking about at the beginning.

I did have a chat to exway about that (owning a NASA atlas) the newest firmware splits it 45:55, they’ve done quite a bit of testing on running the front motors at lower amperages and found that it lost a lot of efficiency at anything lower than 45:55 as the fronts just get pushed along and not providing much which lowers your range ultimately

AT wheels have their place and I use both 6 and 7 inch on my boards. However, carving with AT wheels feels more like turning than carving. Street wheels feel so much more fun and real. Also, Exway always answers than you we will pass that onto engineering and they always says every problem will be fixed through a firmware update. My Flex battery died very quickly and my Wave cam with a bent truck and they could not supply an upgraded one but another of the old type.

I just got my atles pro 4x4 but one of the wheels isn't Tru and has a wobble. About 2-3 millimeters and is noticable when free spinning the drive in the air. Haven't ridden it yet and waiting for exway to get back to me. Is this normal? Can it be fixed. The retaining nut is tight. This is the wheel not tire issue. The other side wabble as well but not as bad. It caught my eye immediately. The front wheels have little to no wobble.

@@folms110 i have the original atlas in its 2wd configuration and it mental. Amazingly quick and has been great so far. I have used the 4wd before and i am very glad i got the 2wd its a lot easier to carry and almost as quick.

They still haven’t fixed that hitting a wall issue. I hit max speed yesterday and it felt like I was going to crash at any moment because it started going snakey too but I was able to ride it out.

@@averageeskatereviews it’s fully updated but in mode 4 I’m maxing out at 33mph and that’s where the problem is happening. Maybe I need to have it in turbo mode to have that top speed threshold so it doesn’t do it.

6:11 WOOF. I'm almost sold. Electric vehicles are considerably more dispensable than motor vehicles but at the price of around 1300(depending on taxes) with the current sale, methods of transportation like this are a decent value. If you're in the city without an electric vehicle, idk what to say. I've had mopeds when I was younger; nowadays, living in a busy tourist city, without my 285 dollar Auvopro scooter... all I can say is I'd be doomed!

Which is better, backfire zealot s vs g3 plus for me. I’m about 160-170 pounds. It will be my first electric skateboard. And can I push skate them after the charge is empty.

I would definitely take the Zealot S. I own the regular Zealot and I'm very happy with it. You can push skate, however it wont be as easy as with a regular skateboard, because the motors will give quite a bit of resistance.

I live in London & had an evolve bamboo gtx (1st person in London) but I sold it as it’s too cumbersome when shopping & it didn’t fit in gym lockers. This Atlas pro is too bulky & only good for certain situations. I ride a EUC also & it fits in with my lifestyle much better, plus it’s faster - more agile - no remote - lights etc. Exway, think smaller with a cordless drill style swappable battery not bigger.

keep in mind, the gtr is incredibly outdated. any of its competitors at the time will get the same or worse range around that 2019 time: wowgo at2. vestar blackhawk. black carve 1, raldy, atlas 1, and many more… the gtr was made in 2017 and released in 2019. so ya, outdated as hell lol. but pop on some street wheels. ull have more performance and range 👌🏼

My first question is have you noticed on the front motors when riding that it makes a funny Whistling noise at high speed?
