Really sorry for the late response mate. I’ve been so busy. Both the 2wd or the 4x4 would be great for you even as a learner. You can limit the top speed and be in total control of the torque output in the app. So you can slowly make your way up to the top power levels as you get more comfortable

not because I'm a DIY'er, but because I repair computers and other electronics (so it appies to DIY stuff too I guess)... that black stick tool is for (gently) prying away, lifting up or pressing down on electronics connectors when taking them apart or putting them back together. usually made from teflon or some plastic that is not prone to conducting static charge. nice vid bro.. like Exway your quality seems to be improving as you go & as someone who went from heavy to "reasonable" (I'm still trying to shake that last 10kg), massive congratulations on the weight loss bro!! Wish it wasn't so hard to get an Atlas in Australia (thanks evolve 😒), these pro models look mint! keep up the great work!

Nice video dude! I just got my board in last week and have been riding super slow. If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you to get the turtle mode to turn off? I max out at about 3MPH and it's killing me seeing everyone else shred on these! Just anxious to actually be able to test out this board at it's full potential!

Congrats mate! You’ve got a great taste in boards that’s for sure 😆 It takes 10km. Usually in exways apps you can disable this safety feature but not sure about the Atlas Pro’s ‘ExSkate’ app. And thanks for the kind words!!

@@ASeSkater I usually aim for the top notch stuff, thanks! Maybe I just have to put a little more in. I'm sitting at 8 miles right now. I think that's about 12km give or take. I haven't seen that feature in the "ExSkate" app either. Time for some more riding then! Was there a notification in the app or did it just kick in unexpectedly? Just so I have a heads up lol

@@thehomieflores That’s strange I’m pretty sure it was about 10km for me! Just got to keep riding I guess can’t be long now. No notification. Bare in mind you can’t switch modes whilst the board is moving by default. So you’ll have to stop now and again to see if you can go into 3 and 4. Or toggle change gears whilst moving to on from the app. Hope this helps!

@@thehomieflores Hey man were you able to get it of the turtle mode? I had the same problem last week. You can remove it by going in to the app, but yoi have to make sure you go in to settings on your remote first before you're able to change it in the app!!! Took me a little bit to figure that out. Hope this helps... By the way do you have the 4WD or 2? I got the 4WD drive and when riding at high speeds I'll hear this loud whistling sounds coming from the front of the board by the motors and also feel the front of the board shake / vibrate when at around 27 - 30 MPH. Curious to know if others have had this issues or any other issues with the board. Please let me know. Thank you!

How is this board compared to the Wowgo AT2 +? do you think it is worth the extra money for hobby riding around the city? Also, is the wowgo more comfortable with the flexy deck compared to the exway carbon deck? Great video! subbed :)

Heyy. Both solid choices. I would definitely say the Wowgo is more comfortable. Specs wise the Atlas Pro outperforms the AT2+ but then you’re paying more and not everyone needs the extra performance. If comfort is your main priority I’d go for the Wowgo. And welcome to the channel!

I just bought the Atlas Pro 4WD and while attempting to recharge the battery, the light stays green. I have only 2 bars left on the board. I have reached out to Exway and still awaiting a resolution. Afraid to ride it now because it will die and have no way of charging it. I sure hope it's a defective charger and not the battery🤞

Hi. It’s fine to use in those conditions it just means you won’t get the best range. For storage always store at room temperature

Hey buddy. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it! Honestly this board is probably one of the most powerful I’ve ridden in the 2 in 1 category, and that’s just at 2wd. It’s comparable to the Eovan Super which I also reviewed, but need to put them head to head to test. At 4wd it would be double the power of mine, so insane power. The 2wd would be a huge upgrade from your Zealot 👍

Thanks! Yeah that would be really interesting to know how it compares. I do like the extra useful features exway is providing for example the app giving tunability like no other brand rn. I was going to go diy but i think im swaying towards this right now. 4wd seems insane, but i think i will look at the 2wd for now as its cheaper and i liked the idea of upgrading in the future should i want to! Do you attend many esk8 meetups?

@@sambailey8378 Yep the customisability is definitely a huge pro! (pardon the pun) I think that’s a smart move. You can always upgrade to 4wd or direct drive hopefully down the line. And yes I do! I actually run my local eskate scene in my city. Though I don’t feature it on the channel these days as much as I’d like

Good question. Atlas Pro won’t connect to the old Exway app. It has a dedicated app called Ex-Skate

Looks 🤩 Nice to see them includin ambassadors in the literature! For the bushings, personally I would put fatcones/chubbies boardside on kingpin closest to deck, and barrels on roadside, with flat washers roadside on the 1st kingpins closest to deck. Carvy but stable. Interestin to see include low rebound and high rebound bushings, I would encourage people to experiment using Venom bushing shapes/duros to find their personal preference. Woah, GaN charger!!! new tech, can handle more heat/higher charge in smallee form factor, small but.. this is actually really big, metaphorically big!! The 20A 1000W charger would be great to keep with you for toppin up charge for charge stops, epic charge speed for a productiom board. Likin the NotRuNot helmet 👀🤙🏼

Hey Ammar let me ask you something. With your Atlas Pro have you noticed any weird noises when riding at high speeds? For some reason I hear a loud whistling high pitch sound coming from the front. Not sure if it's one of the front motors. I took the wheels off to see if there was any debris in the pulley, but saw nothing. Also, at high speeds sometimes the front of the board will vibrate / shake! Not wobble, but vibrate and shake. Have you had this issue with yours or any issues at all? I feel like mine is defected. I already reached out to Exway about it. Also, with mine I can't do "Tank Mode". When I try doing it I have it in 4th gear and in Turbo and all it does is spins the wheel doing a mini burn out. Kinda bummed out I haven't been able to enjoy the board like I was hoping. Took it to work today and felt unsafe the whole trip because of the vibrations at high speeds and whistling noise. Any advice I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

The one thing that concerns me is the battery replacement... there is no news on battery replacement, meaning they've built in an obsolesce for a max of maybe 2 years? Which is a waste cos the other components are in perfect condition.

Don’t worry about that because you can always get the parts you need including batteries by emailing exway’s after sales team

@@ASeSkater nope... they don't reply and they don't sell the relevant batteries... I've emailed them many times, the closets I've found to a viable option is a private seller in denmark that actually makes the batteries and it's not from exway. As I've mentioned, it seems they want you to have to replace their full board every 2 years min, problem is that some boards batteries die after less than a year.

@@AuRowe gear drive can be AWD. It definitely won't improve a whole lot unless you go on certain surfaces. It is also pretty heavy so might be slower than the belt drive. Especially if you can only get the kit with their pneumatic tires. It could be a benefit for me since I am super light weight. I wonder if the added weight would lower chances of wobbles (not that I ever got any on the nicer trucks) and help grip into dirty surfaces more.

Hey, what's up bro. Do you have a number for Exway? I can't seem to get in contact with anyone to ask about shipping. I just get a generic reply three days later, with very little information. I watched your video and went to Exway and purchased the Atlas Pro 4WD 18 days ago and I haven't even gotten a tracking number, Now they are telling me the end of Dec. I totally understand that China is mad jacked up right now, so I can't ask for too much, but they gave me the impression that these boards are ready to ship now. It makes me feel really bad when I get told one thing and see another. I see people in the same country as me getting their boards within days, and here I am still without a tracking number. I feel away bro. Exway needs to stop using KZbinrs to push boards that are not ready to ship. If they had said Pre-order now and we will ship in 2 months after that, then I would have waited until they were ready or gotten an Evolve board, $2.200 is a lot to wait until 2023 from the Califonia warehouse? It makes no sense. I know you are one of the ambassadors so I was hoping you have a contact over there so you can find out for me? Any help would be great. Thank you.

Hey man! Thanks for watching and so sorry to hear that. Usually for international shipments from China the tracking number only updates once the item has arrived in your country. I’m unsure if you paid for delivery from CA or China? They have plenty of Atlas’s ready for shipping in China I believe, but shipping definitely can take a while which can be frustrating
