Weird story: I was strangely enthralled with this song as a child (I was a weird kid), and every so often over the years I'd think back to it. Several days ago it was inexplicably in my head, and so I decided to search "Eye In The Sky cover" here on KZbin, and behold, I found this right away. I can't properly explain how amazing this is. Close enough to the original to trigger intense nostalgia, modern enough to meld with my developed taste in music. Bravo, good sir. Bravo.

My departed grandmother used to have a bathroom mirror that you could turn onto itself from both the left & right, similar to the effect in the video. It created the illusion that your reflection went on for eternity & I used to love playing with it when I was a very young child. Watching the Asian girl in the video look ashamed & suspicious really reminded of something I hadn't thought about in decades. Sirius/The Eye In The Sky has been one of my all time favorite songs since I was 5 yrs old. I was always fascinated by the vinyl albums' cover art, & I used to study it as though I were hypnotized. The back cover depicted the eye on a satellite, a building & tattooed on Alan Parsons face, suggesting control by something in outer space...(I was also fascinated by Star Wars). This is a great cover. I really like that the singer's voice is on the softer side here just like Eric Woolfson. A harsher voice would not fit. Mr.Von Ahlen is very talented.

It certainly worked! I could play this alongside the original Eye in the Sky and it would be totally awesome. Considering that Alan Parsons uses a synth piano in the melody line, your use only enhances the song.
