This is my first time watching this, and for a fan made film it is very good. However an Ensign's uniform shirt has no decoration on the sleeves. Lt. Junior Grade is the small dash design, Lt is one solid stripe design, Lt. Cmdr. is a solid stripe and dash like design, Commander is 2 solid stripe design, Captain is two stripe designs and the dash design in between the two solids. I noticed the one scene where the Captain addressed an Ensign who is wearing a Lt. shirt. Apart from that very well put together.

Yeah, that was out of my control. The New York crew handled that one. I'm glad you enjoyed the film. Thank you for the feedback. :)

Deep Space 3 and the Pinchot Expanse? Is anyone else familiar with the Giant Gnome audio drama series about all this?

Indeed. I also included references to the USS LIBERTY from one of their episodes. I love Outpost! 😊

Overall, it was very well done. I'm not a big fan of CGI.
@kenneththomson5120Ай бұрын
I'm glad you enjoyed it. CGI is the only way I can afford to do these. Sometimes it works out better than other times, but this is just a hobby to me. Thanks for watching it!

Cool MACO shuttle craft and his uniform had an Omega symbol too that is also cool and it looks like the Klingons pulled the old bait and switch since Kore has the commodore witch is a good example of a lowdown dirty underhanded trick so thumbs to the cast and crew for their hard work on this fanfilm 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🖖🖖🖖🖖🖖but just remember rule of aquastion number forty eight the bigger the smile the sharper the knife!!!!!

Why at the beginning stardate was in the nine thousands, but at the end in the six thousands. Also, the storyline is disjointed and overly complicated. Simplify. Otherwise, good effort.
@kenneththomson5120Ай бұрын
Lol, you are right about the stardate. It's a mistake because we had two different teams and I didn't catch it in the edit bay. My bad. The story does have a few loose ends that should be resolved in future stories. I will admit we could have tightened it up a bit, but... well, it's a learning experience.

I think you used the music from one of the first broadcast TOS episodes with that synthesizer doing the honors. HOW did you get away with doing an hour long fan film????????? I thought that would get you sued by CBS/Paramount????????????
@Raymar3dАй бұрын
Those are guidelines. I hope it isn't a problem. I had posted this video originally in 2015, had to replace some of the music to be able to post it again. I guess we'll see.
@Raymar3dАй бұрын
Other fan films have done similar. *shrugs*
@davidmeltzer1871Ай бұрын
Not for me but paramount is very territorial. If you are saying you did your episode BEFORE the guide lines that would make sense. Strange about the music cuz I watch Many fan films and they use music from the TOS shows without hesitation . And finally.....the episode I am talking about with the synthesizer was the one where a creature draws salt from humans especially a lover of McCoy.
@davidmeltzer1871Ай бұрын
No I want you guys to be able to do shows to the extent YOU wish. I do recall Axanar had to scuttle their original hour episode due to Paramount insisting on time limitations. Alec Peters recently seems to be saying SOON whatever version of Axanar will be available for viewing.
@centaur1aАй бұрын
Lighting is not consistent between cgi and live action. If you are doing TOS series. Have to remember that the series were very low budget, so the special effects were just simple. Let the audience mind to fill in the event. Writing or acting needs some polishing.
@Raymar3dАй бұрын
Well, nothing is perfect. I made this film for less than $500 including buying a greenscreen setup. What it does reflect was nearly a year of work in my spare time. I'm okay with a few imperfections. :)
