Please don’t be bending over until your eye has healed, it applies pressure to your eye. Just a fyi. You are bending forward to pick those things up.

Tim, it’s most important you follow the doctors instructions, Don’t bend over or lift anything, I know it’s hard for you because you are so high strung, You just need to lay down and rest. Turn on KZbin. Enjoy your gun videos just take it easy. I made the big mistake picking up a gallon jug of milk just because my Caregiver was laying on the couch watching movies 😮

When my daughter had the tube shunt in, she had that little bit of irritation like an eyelash was in it. The next day when they took the patch off, they noticed that the suture had a little piece of thread, sticking out. They easily snipped it and all was good.

I had a macular hole 1 1/2 years ago at UAB Callahan Eye hospital had surgery. The hole closed but my central vision never came back. I had to lay facing down looking at the floor for a week which was very difficult to get the macular hole to close. I'm alone just me and my cat Earl...hang in there Tim. I had a retina surgeon he seems great regardless. Try some Black Rifle coffee the " Fur Missile" is great dedicated to Military K9's

Hey Tim. Hope you are feeling a bit better. You know, back in the day the doctor probably gave a prescription for a few Percocet. But today the doctors are so scrutinized when they give pain meds, they don't do it anymore! Its a shame. You could have had much less pain. I can sympathize with you! I had a vitreous hemorrhage and went blind for almost 4 yrs Then Cataract surgery gone wrong!!! Procedure after procedure Doctor after doctor State of Maine all the way to the state of Nevada back to Maine!! Steroid shot after steroid shot Eye drop’s after eye drops Suture after suture! Pain after pain! Lots of inflammation Distorted vision now But last visit was promising! Hang in there! Sending prayer! Oh and yes very hard to drive with just one eye!!!

I get two shots in each eye every couple of months for macular degeneration. The doctor finally allowed me to have the medicine they put in to prevent infection. Applied locally with a Q-tip. That sounds like what was bothering you. It must not affect everybody the same, but I thought for sure I’d scratched my eyeball. It hurts so bad I called the doctor at Home at 8:00 PM to see if I should go to the emergency room.. 😂 I just had to let it wear off.

Am have to have cataract surgery done soon probably early spring so different times for both eyes. I knew you had cataract surgery prior to this surgery yesterday i was wondering how you were feeling because you said other one you were put to sleep you didn’t feel nothing but you said this one from the type of surgery you had I know it’s not to same but still dealing with the eye and hearing you made me made me quiche😳 plus they said same kinda instructions when I have it done please rest no bending just try rest am praying you have speedy recovery 🙏🏾they just numbed it no wonder you were woke opposed to the other surgery when you were put to sleep 😳Wow plus this one was you said very painful called Tube shut
