I agree about the extra plastic! I was surprised. I bought Chloe, Nora, Olivia, and Laura. I thought Laura was very metallic, but the rest were very sheer/shiny. I loved the look of Judy and your final look! Thanks for showing us how a Clionadh shadow would fit in the single container.

Oden's eye is probably my all time favorite eyeshadow formula in both mattes and shimmers. I highly recommend picking up any of the newer palettes when you find a color story you are drawn to! I own 6 of their palettes (so far:) and they have a handful of different texture formulas spread in their palettes which I enjoy the diversity a lot. Many are somewhat flaky and impactful, some are creamy and shiny, and on occasion there are more normal shimmers. All their shimmers are really special though and the mattes blend so beautifully. I have not ordered singles yet but in the swatches they look just like traditional oden's eye shimmers are. Some others commented that they're prone to hardpan, in my experience this is true that it looks hardpanned but it has not affected the performance at all and I have not needed to do any tape tricks etc to get the pigment I want. Wonderful and helpful video, I'm likely to add a few of these to my collection sooner or later!

I am a fan of your in-depth critiques - it’s not only helpful but rather entertaining 😃 Ok I have a ton of Odens eye palettes and the have different shimmer/multichromes formulas across and within the different palettes. The softer shades remind me of some in the Hela palette as well as maybe the two holiday palettes. I’ll have to go through the palettes and do a recheck. I definitely have Ingrid on my list of about 8 shades I’m interested in getting later on in the year. I wonder how it compares to Clionadhs Throne. It’s like the perfect springtime shade

Even when Oden's Eye palettes only have "shimmers" - in person they are much more special or duochromes for the most part. Ever since I started buying them I now get (almost) every palette from them. I did also try an older palette of theirs but the quality just wasn't as good. They've definitely improved and I appreciate a brand that will keep improving the quality of their makeup too

Judy looks exactly like my kind of shade! 😻💜✨ Thank you for showing how they wear, though. My lids are super prone to creasing, so I think this might not be the formula for me.

Since the Diversa collection Odens Eye palettes have been some of the best in the game. Especially for the price. The shimmers/multichromes/duochromes are just as good as these singles are and their mattes are top 5 matte formula 👌 They really make the best palettes at their price point. They are even better in person for sure.

I learned from a friend recently to gently tap toilet paper a few times over wetter shades and it soaks in a lot of the wetness of the shadow and leaves you with a much dryer smooth formula. I did that with my Ingrid cause it creased pretty rough on me

Commenting again hours later lol. First of all I love your nails! As for the oe shimmer formula in their palettes: they hardpan almost immediately, are hard to pick up, some are super crumbly, & I've hated the majority of them from the Alva 2 palette on! I've been complaining about the oe shimmer formula for years at this point. So the singles were a nice surprise 🤗🕺✨ oh & I made a series of stories on my i-g that I saved to highlights (named odens eye) where I show trying different sizes in the twelve pan palette & it was a no go! I also posted a reel to my wall where I showed how you can easily remove the single pans from the single packaging with just a finger! The pans have a little lip on the edge! That divot up near the top makes it super easy to pop them out if someone doesn't have a magnetic tool 🤗

Great video Hannah. Very comprehensive and the swatches were beautiful. I always look forward to the eyeshadow look at the end. You never disappoint. Would it be possible for you to do comparison swatches with these? For example there’s one you said was comparable to Unexplainable by SBSD, Kevin looks a bit like JD Glow prismatic etc

Oh how funny, we got a couple of the same shades! I got Robert, Kevin, Olivia & Leon. I own almost all of the previous oe palettes & no, the shimmer formula is those is awful compared to the singles! That said, I don't own the Christmas palettes, so the shimmers in those might be good, idk. Btw Kevin is a dupe to jdg Prismatic! I was so close to grabbing Chloe! I grabbed Olivia instead!

The first shade, Ingrid, reminds me of Clionadh mural! Given how coveted that shade was, I can imagine another green/peach shade being well loved!

Interesting!! I’ll have to compare them sometimes but I think Ingrid comes off a lot more green than Mural- Mural is mostly just green in it’s base under all the sparkle

Definitely a dupe. I own glam rush but it stains.. and mine came hard pan.:/ shinebysd is very hit or miss sometimes but they have AMAZING shine on the hits!

@@gagacitatheir fantasy 2.0 collection is absolutely shiney and amazing. Takeover next level, and no other are my favorites. (I got obsessed but I’m not a huge pink eyeshadow lover) Also meadow (foiled collection) is absolutely amazing it’s a neutral to a green to a blue.

I allways gently press the eyeshadows that are "wet feeling" just with a paper napkin because this will absorb the binder and my shades will not crease on me ( i have slightly oily eyelids ). Overall, I am super happy Oden's Eye released singles, because are in Europe and shipping is like 10 € and no other taxes adds, but i've skipped this launch considering i have similar shades in my collection from other brands! I am definetly waiting for future releases ! 🤗
