the problem is that a lot of Kurts lyrics were rushed and purposely made no sense. He even admits this in a couple of interviews. Eyedeas lyrics are light years beyond kurts honestly. The main reason why Nirvana got so big is because of the way Kurt put songs together. People look too far into Kurts lyrics.

Keith Graham Nah eyedea clearly had some inspiration from Nirvana. I do agree he was a better writer but both kurt and eyedea gave subtle/subliminal hints that they were both dealing with struggle.

Was lucky enough to catch their show in Germany some decade plus ago. Small venue, small crowd, but a magical intimate party. Eyedea moshing with us as he performed. Some of my friends ended up hitting the bars after the show with them. I wish I stuck around to hang with them.
