Wow, my grandmother was Dutch/German not sure,she lived in Soerabaja/Grissee and she refused to go back to The Netherlands/ Germany, she married with my local Grandpa. Her last name meyer/ van meyer, very stunning footage, beautiful old Soerabaja, in very develop and clean.

From all of the images of Surabaya's past, what I miss most is the tram for public transport.. now not even modern Surabaya can implement that system again... 😞

The Naval Base was in Soerabaja , the Dutch East India Company to this day is the most Valuable company ever , in todays value , 7.4 Trillion Dollars.
