Hey Emmie, It's sort of like make up--where it's a mix of personal preference from the client and an art of balancing out their eyes. This is typically how we determine how to style the eyes with eyelash extensions. For example, if a client has close set eyes, we typically want to elongate the distance of the eyes by adding length to the outer corners. I hope this makes sense!

Hello! Do you put a volume fan on every single natural lash (aside from the tiny baby hairs) or only partial coverage? I’m currently taking a course and she told me for classic it’s like 90% coverage and for volume it’s 70% coverage so she said only put a fan on every other natural lash but everywhere else I’ve seen they’ve put on every lash. It depends on your lash tech + how they structure their price lists! Some lash techs do 90-100% coverage. and some don't. Also, depends on the condition of your lashes too.

Hi! Amazing video! Quick question did you use 2 different type mm of lashes or 3 different lengths. it seems obvious that the lashes at the end of her eye are longer than the ones near her tear duct. So that’s at least two different lengths but how many do you use typically for a general client. (Sorry if this doesn’t make sense I’m new :) )

Hey Rosa. Yes! You should always use different lengths throughout the eye to really shape the eyes according to the client's needs/their eyes. It totally depends on what shape they want! (round eye, cat eye, etc..) AND also their natural eye shape. Have you taken a class that taught lash mapping yet?

Hi Tee, Thanks for commenting! It depends on your lash cycle... but typically clients come in for a fill every 3 weeks to keep it looking at its best. The last lash usually lasts until 2 months :)

Hey girl, Burning from removal is likely from too much remover / it's going into her eyes... (not a good sign!). You also might want to ask her to go to the eye doctor to check how her eye is doing. Always best to get a professional for diagnosis rather than yourself as a lash artist!

I use the mango cream remover by Stacy lash and my sister says it does not burn at all even when I was very close to her lash line.
