Connie Perry is posting this! You are SUCH and inspiration every time I watch your videos. I commented to my husband last night as I showed him your make a loop video how detailed you are taking your time to insure your viewers get it. I got away from making Jewelry for about 4 years and now I am back in it. Thank you for being a ray of sunshine in the lives of those that need it! God Bless

I tried it! Worked out beautifully. Being OCD, I did redo it. I'm not a fan of jump rings. To me, they always seem flimsy. I substituted handmade figure 8 links between the beads. I used Rondelles and alternating square Murano beads. Really cute! This is such a great tutorial! You can change these up so many ways!
@afallas727 жыл бұрын
fatoldladyinpjs woot woot I am so glad this worked out for you and it sounds like it's came out beautiful. And yes, I do have to agree with you the jump rings do tend to be flimsy but the gauge size I use they are pretty strong, for me my concern are the head pins or eye pins being strong. wire wrapping is always the best way to go but that is very tough for so many girls to do and it does take longer. so I try to keep things simple and give the idea and then everyone can run with it and create something that works best for them. mucho hugs, Anna

I am so glad that you were able to figure it out and now you are on a roll. They are absolutely easy to make just make sure your Loops are tight and that your eye pins are a heavier gauge not too thin and flimsy so that they fall apart I have made that mistake before.

can you tell me what I should order for those eye pins
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
hello Angela, sorry i am confused with ur question. I buy my eye pins from downtown L.A. in California so if u r asking about gauge sizes i dont know since they dont out that information on thier packaging. I just know that u dont want it to be too thin unless u plan on wire wrapping. Maybe google eye pin gauge size and see what it says ur options are. I know the ines they sell at micheals is too thin not good for heavier beads. If u r asking something else please let me know.
@angelahyde71336 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much you did answer my question, it was the guage size,,When I order things I tend to get things to thick or thin that is why I asked,,also the chain I ordered was so thin that I cannot get a jump ring in the hole,,what size was your chain? I love your videos and only just found you,,,you are far the best for explaining things,, thank you so much ..I am from Devon in England and we dont have these wonderful shops like you only hobbycraft and they are a general art and craft shop but I will continue watching and learn ,,thank you again

Are the jump rings, head pins, and lobster clasp sterling silver or sterling Silver plated because I noticed some wire and jump rings have a yellowish tint... I'm a beginner but a detail person in everything ekse! Uhhhggg curse and a blessing!
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
Kathy Lewis I don't use the sterling silver I pins or headpinz because it is very flimsy but I use mostly antique silver but it is not real and it is a darker silver instead of the shiny silver because that tarnishes pretty fast and the good thing about being a jewelry maker is whatever does tarnish I just remove it and put a new piece on LOL thank you so much for watching my videos and leaving comments I totally appreciate it. Mucho hugs, Anna

Hello Anna! I love watching your videos. I bought some Eye Pins from AliExpress. Do you ever use those? I'm going to make a purse dangle from your tutorial . I'll see if I have to go to Michael's to get those pin heads instead. This will be my first one. I'll be giving it away as a gift, so I want it not to come apart. Hope to hear from you! Have a great day! ~Liz~
@afallas727 жыл бұрын
Elizabeth Kerckhoff hey Elizabeth, yes I use eye pins and head pins all the time. Head pins work great but I have noticed on some of my purse dangles that if you are gifting it to someone why mat not be so gentle in their purse they come apart ughhh so the only way to guarantee that it doesn't is wire wrapping. I use my purse dangles and I have no problem because i am careful how I handle my purse. You can also double loop the end of the eye pins that helps a lot too. Thank you so much for stopping i so appreciate it. Mucho hugs, Anna

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I have sooooo much stuff out getting ready to start. I still haven't made anything yet. I threw away 2 pins so far. would it be easier to draw a line on the needle nose pliers I heard that but had already gave up on making loops and I have so many eye pins and head pins help you make it look so easy
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
I have never heard of doing a line on the needle nose pliers that's actually a great idea for beginners but I have been doing it such a long time I guesstimate pretty well now LOL but it does take a lot of practice please don't think that I got this on my first try by any means I went through a lot of head pins and eye pins before I could figure out what works best for me but don't give up I know you will be able to do it the moment you can make that first Loop you will totally want to keep on trying. Mucho hugs, Anna
@robinsmith34696 жыл бұрын
You forgot the charm😁
@echoandmeaservicedogslife33007 жыл бұрын
why don't you just use wire to make your Link's? instead of headpins it's kind of expensive using headpins or eyepins all the time
@afallas727 жыл бұрын
Coleen Taylor it was only $3 for that pack and I made all of those bracelets, plus I still have enough for three or four more so I think it is a good deal. And the wire is very flimsy and that works best when you wire wrap each bead. My tutorials are to teach jewelry that is not to complex so the beginner jewelry makers won't be discouraged. Thank you for stopping by. mucho hugs, Anna
