Thanks for showing us exactly what to buy! I think you are the BEST at giving tutorials. I plan to watch all of your jewelry making videos! Funny, the lady I work asked me to shop for her a purse charm. She can’t see to well and wanted the main zipper of her purse to have something on it to show her where the zipper was. She asked me to buy a key chain or something. After watching your purse charm tutorial, I told her I would make her a personal charm. She is excited to go through her jewelry stash and pick out personal things she wants included in it. Can’t wait to make it! Thanks!

Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. and I normally use glossy accents to finish it off but forgot to mention that. Hi Leslie, thank you so much for your sweet comment. R u using thick elastic string? I don't remember the size I use since there isn't one in the package because I get it downtown but it is like the second size up from the smallest one at micheals. I know it 4 times and put glossy accents on the knot to secure it then I will put a 6.5 crimp cover over the knot and they sell those at hobby lobby. I hope that helps. Mucho hugs, Anna

tfs. I always have a problem with the knot. It never wants to stay closed without using glue. I love the idea of adding the chain. Do you charge for any jewelry you make?
@afallas728 жыл бұрын
hey Charlene, thank you for your comment it is appreciated. if you are using stretchy string that is to thick you will need e6000 or glossy accents is what I use but if you pull the knot into the bead if the hole is big enough you should be good on not needing to add adhesive. I use a thinner stretchy string not too thin and knot it 6 times but I forgot to show I also use glossy accents I will be doing more vids on jewelry making so stay tuned. mucho hugs, Anna

When I sell my jewelry I always size them add a 6 1/2, seven and 7 1/2 inches for the bracelets because those seem to be the most common sizes I hope I answered your question if not feel free to comment back and I will respond thank you so much for watching my video

I measure my bracelet before I tie by laying it straight out. My wrist is 6 inches so I make mine about 6 1/4 - 6 1/2. Very pretty. I like the chain idea.

Hi there again.. do you lay out your beads before you make them..
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
Hey Phyllis I just seen your comment so I apologize for it taking me a month to respond LOL but anytime I make jewelry I always pick out the colors that I want to work with and then I start laying out the pattern with the colors and also with the metal findings to put in between the beads so there are many times I line it up and I don't like it and I take it apart and I start over LOL I hope that answers your question thank you so much for stopping by. Mucho hugs, Anna

@sharonbenevengo67236 жыл бұрын
Would you need more stretchy to add that chain
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
Sharon Benevengo the only stetchy string u need is to nake the bracelet. When adding the chain you just sliding it on to the stretchy string like a bead or add the chain to a jump ring and add that to the stretchy string it is super easy. Thank you for watching
@lindy21646 жыл бұрын
I love your stretch bracelet designs. Im wondering how the elastic lasted with using the glass beads/crystals. Did they end up cutting through the elastic ????.
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
When I make stretchy bracelets I rarely ever have issues with them breaking regardless of the stone that I use now if you're using stretchy string that is too thin and you're putting super-heavy beads on it it is going to break so you would want to get a thicker size stretchy string for the bigger and heavier beads if you are closing the stretchy string with a crimping bead then you run a very high risk and then breaking if you just do not or I should say three knots and then put some glossy Accent on top of it to hold the knots it should be fine and then just put a crimp cover over the not to cover your work or tuck your work inside of a bead if you're able to I hope that answers your question

Janie "Ivy Terrace Jewelry " Hi Anna , I've Made Jewelry For Over 4 years now , But never Stretchy Bracelets . I've Always Heard You Have To Glue The Knot , But I Noticed You Didn't . Could You Explain If Or Why You Do Or Do Not Glue . Luv Your Work And I'm So Glad I Came Across You ! Thank You
@afallas727 жыл бұрын
Hello Janie, I also use glossy accents to put on the knots and now I use crimp bead covers to go over the not so that you don't see it because sometimes you can't hide the knot in a bead and when I was not using the glue it was because I did so many of those knots I've never had a problem with them coming undone but now that I know about the crimp covers I use glossy Accent on the not because I don't do as many. I hope that made sense lol thank you so much for subscribing to my channel and watching my videos I totally appreciate it. Mucho hugs, Anna

I am new to making jewelry you never say what size beads you use in your tutorials this would be helpful thank you great videos
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
Hello Elizabeth a lot of the times I don't mention the bead size because I take them all out of their packaging and I put them in different Packaging and they all get put into one bin depending on the color and because I have thousands and thousands of beads I don't remember what each size bead is but most of the time I am using 6 mm beads and 8 mm and also there are many times I buy beads on a strand and they do not have the size on them so that totally doesn't even help me LOL so I apologize that my videos didn't help you in that area

Hi, I would love to know what size these , I wannta say 8mm, ? m wonder about the bicone size? Can you answer what day and year is it
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
I am using 6 and 8 mm size beads butts on this specific bracelet I am using black matted 6 mm beads and the glass ones are eight millimeter but I don't see any bicone size beads in this particular bracelet anytime I'm using swarovski crystals I will always mention the size because I have to purchase those by weight and size when I buy all my other beads a lot of the times they don't come with the size on them so I tend to have to guesstimate and since I am commenting on my cell phone I don't know the exact day when I made this video sorry
