🧜‍♀️💧EYESHADOW PALETTE BREAKDOWN: Flower Knows Moonlight Mermaid

Just got 3, 4, and 5, mainly for the packaging 😅 Moonlight Land is now one of my favourite palettes ever, I used it to recreate a 60s inspired look I do when I want a foolproof stunning makeup! I used the lighter cool brown in my crease with a regular blending brush (used synthetic and dense painter brushes for all the others), packed the baby blue all over my lid, lined with the dark cool brown, applied the light shimmer on my lower lid, and the blackened navy shimmer on just the outside of my lower lid for depth. I’ve been staring at it for some while now, it looks magical! I’d highly recommend using this palette like that, because the shimmers really are difficult to work with!

THIS IS THE REVIEW I didn't know i needed! thank you very much for sharing your thoughts on the collection! i was thinking of getting the pink-purple palette but now i'm thinking twice about it. the other color selections are not very much to my liking, either safe nudes (i already own a lot of shadows to curate my own nudes) or colors id not use frequently (blue is pretty but not for everyday use). you got a subscriber!

I really enjoy your c-makeup reviews! Once I discovered brands like flower knows, xixi etc. I've been really into c-makeup since the colors are soo interesting and I love the formulas a lot! I bought 2 flower knows mermaid lip glosses and was really obsessed with them; they're both empty but Im glad I didnt miss out from their mermaid eyeshadow paletts; such a bummer, I was interested in the blue one but if its hard to work with that sucks; especially since I enjoy their rococo creamy macarons palette where I almost finished the blue eyeshadow which is soo pretty and good to work with :D

I felt the same disappointment for the mermaid eye palettes. They are hard to blend & the pigmentation for some shades are really bad. However, i can work with #04, just that it's not really a daily palette. Side news, I've just received my new eye palette #02 Black Swan from the Swan Ballet series, at arm swatches the formula seems closer to the Strawberry Rococo (which i like), cant wait to try a look with it! The new swan ballet lipsticks are really good, i definitely recommend those. The formula is glossy yet very long lasting and doesn't leave a stain! Sort of reminds of Kate Lip Monster. Ive bought all 9 shades but my favs are #02, 04, 05 & 09. The blushes ive bought #04 & 05. Flower knows blushes are good, but i think they kinda changed the formula and it applies better with a finger puff now instead of brush. Cant say i like the new formula. But the lipstick is definitely worth a try!

i have palette 04 in a shipment im waiting for and im so glad im more excited for the pinks/purples than the glitter if its so different from the pan 😭 btw if you have them it would be super useful to see a video like this about their setting powders!

Omg yes the lilac and the periwinkle in palette 4 are pretty I love them!! You mean the setting powders from the newest ballet swan collection? Let me know what you would like to know about them! Ill add it into my review when i get it!

@@babubu yes!! i think the moonlight mermaid collection had some setting powders too, im mostly just curious to know how big the difference is between the different colors. i almost bought some myself but compared to something like eyeshadow its a lot harder to tell the difference 😅

tysm!! i was wondering if i can get the celestial castle palette and use it as contour, blush, highlighter and the darkest shade as eyeliner since i don't really wear eyeshadow, i have olive, neutral to warm skin tone, what do you think?

Not sure how deeply or fair you are but the light brown shade in that palette has a quite a bit of red tones! If you dont mind that then sure! 💜
