I love watching palette declutters. It helps me to see what palettes really stand out among a large collection. When I watch a product review of a new release, all I get is whether or not the person likes the palette and why; when I watch declutters, I feel like I get a much broader view of how the palette compares to other palettes. And it's just satisfying to see the makeup drawer looking more organized and manageable at the end. Looking forward to seeing part II as well, but I'm glad this one was first since I also love Juvia's Place and ColourPop!

Good job! It’s so nice just keeping what excites you otherwise you just will get way too overwhelmed by your collection and always be wading thru the ones that are less compelling to you. I try so hard to keep my palette collection under twenty which as someone who just does their makeup day to day is probably way too much too but I mean..I’m a makeup lover too!

I bought the Atlantis pallet before it was discontinued. I like it, wish it wasn’t so powdery. The colors are pretty. My favorite Hush pallet is the Retro Love-Subculture dupe. That one is amazing!

I agree with you on juvia's place and colourpop for sure I have a lot of them but really like the formula and want to use them more. The Masquerade and Magic mini are just so pretty. You should try putting all of your shadows on the ground while they’re open and seeing how many of the same shades you have. Once you realize that, you can choose the formulas that you like better! That’s what I do when I need to declutter

There is something so satisfying about looking at all these palettes. I need to go through like all my little drugstore pallets because I never use them. I’ve really gotten to the point to where I only like high end. I do like a couple of like my elf pallets. And a few here and there, but I have like every single little wet and wild pallet. And I never use them. It’s just hard for me to let go LOL

If you like any of the shades in the colourop pallets you decluttered you can pop them out with a magnet and put them with the rest of your singles. They're just held in magnetically, no glue so it's really easy!

LOL I squealed when I saw this up! My boyfriend heard me and I said was that out loud? He said if you mean the squeak yes! LOL I also decluttered my Kristen Leanne palette when I got my UD Elements. THe lime green and matte orange are amazing paired however I just felt a lot of the same colours weren't necessary and there is so much in the Elements palette I just love it. I had never tried a Violet Voss palette until I got the Flamingo eye palette. OMG I LOVE IT! It has beautiful corals and gorgeous cool toned shades. My favourite has to be Surf. It is a beautiful cool toned duo chrome from metallic blue to yellow gold. BEAUTIFUL! You would love it. The formula is amazing too. Very pigmented.

As far as custom palettes go, I recommend Mac's PRO PALETTE LARGE / SINGLE (COMPACT), they are only $8, the lid is clear so you can see everything. They're not to big, not to small, perfect size for storage (not an odd size) I really like Tart's too but it's an odd size, more of a square, more challenging to store.

Definitely make sure try the Violet Voss pellette! I have the full sized Holy Grail pallette and it's definitely one of my most used! Such a great formula!

My family and my boyfriend are always telling me I have too much makeup. They should see some of y'all out there. Haha. I only have 6 palettes, about 20 lip products, and 30 super shock shadows (and of course the basics like a foundation, a concealer, a mascara, etc).
