If they offered a lifetime license I'd buy this! I'm currently using AudioRealism Bass Line 3 for 303 Acid stuff.... It doesn't have a built-in distortion, but running it through FabFilter Saturn makes it bark!

I am not sure if this policy still applies, but from what I have read, if you subscribe to Roland Cloud for at least 12 months, you will be rewarded by being able to pick 1 VST to keep for a lifetime. So it should be possible to get it for a lifetime in a legal way. But regardless, pretty poor move by Roland to not give people the opportunity to choose whether they want to use the cloud or to buy a VST separately. It also creates demo restrictions, which is sad for people like me who demo synths.

sounds really good for a vst indeed. Im trying to get back into producing hardstyle/hardcore and was wondering what VST's would be great to design these more "digital poppy" sounds for mid-intro often used by i.e. wildstylez/early noisecontrollers.

If you use Windows, get Viper by Adam Szabo. It's a Virus TI emulation. Both WSZ and NC use Virus TI/C a lot in their productions. It is not 100% the same as the Virus TI, but close enough to be very useful for Hardstyle. Sylenth1 still stands well for Hardstyle too in my opinion. Dune 3 could also be something to test.

Hey, thanks for your video. I have a question though, did you manage to play different patterns in ur timeline? Im trying the 303 right now but i can't play it properly as any vst in my timeline...

I never played it in the DAW timeline/playlist, I just hit play in FL Studio and the VST itself would start playing patterns.
