The meaning of the song "Rúdolf" was the focus of controversy among many who thought it was an allegory to Nazism. It should be noted, however, that Þeyr was an ANTI-FASCIST group. Several years later, drummer Sigtryggur Baldursson said: "The song 'Rúdolf' was supposed to be a criticism, but was really interpreted as we were Nazis."

Just went to the Punk museum in Reykjavík and discovered this band there. Thank god i went. This is an amazing band.

Did you play the drums? I was there last week and got on the drums while the museum attendant played bass. When we finished and I walked-up to the street there was a crowd of tourists standing there listening, LOL. We were pretty loud.

Would you happen to have the cd where this track is (Mjötviður Til Fóta)? I have a hard time trying to find it on the internet. Not to mention that is virtually impossible for to buy the cd (if it is still for sale) from Argentina. So I have to rely on you the fans... I'd really like to listen to all of the album. Thanks!
