Beautifully played and a beautiful guitar, is it an old Gibson L4 oval hole or something modern based on the look? Love the inlay work around the soundhole and it sounds fantastic. Clean picking technique helps.

Thanks, it's a modern archtop inspired by the old Gibsons, here's a review video (also more info in videodescr) kzbin.info/www/bejne/en-oZ4uQmtyBfK8

@@daddystovepipe I just watched the video. Wow, i can't imagine how many hours of work went into the build. Nice decisions between the two of you; to keep the neck and head clean and simple so it looks ancient yet modern and the clean neck draws the eye to the beautiful body carve, the lined oval soundhole, that incredible rosette, the perfect finish job. The luthier has gone as close to perfection as I've ever seen. I'm almost drooling and I'm not a banjo player. :)
