So It would seem if a game is a favorite I can just make a Favorites folder on the SD card and move those to it, and run them the same? Like it doesnt care what the folder names are? thx

Hi, I have a question. Playing GBA games on the R4 is obviously possible, but I noticed some issues during my short time playing Pokémon Emerald. The sound, especially the music, is out of sync; the background and lead melodies are noticeably off. This was immediately obvious with the Littleroot Town music. Additionally, the pitch is slightly off- for example, the "ding" sound when navigating menus is different from what you'd hear using the actual Emerald cartridge in Slot 2. There are also brief black lines that appear randomly on the screen, lasting only milliseconds but still disruptive. Would using an EZ Flash instead of the R4 resolve these issues? Also, which version should I get for my DS Lite? I plan on playing mostly Gen 3 Pokémon games (FRLG/RSE) so if there would be compatibility quirks, I would prioritize those games. Thanks in advance!

Oh heck yeah the EZ flash Definitive edition was made for GBA the R4 Card is running emulation I do a lot of content surrounding the R4 cand if you pair an EZ Flash with it using your DS Lite it makes life grand. GBA Runner needs to be updated too I hope someday the R4 will be at its best but in the world of hacking the DSi/3DS/Emulation I think a lot of developers stopped caring. I guess there is a revive project however for GBARunner but that all aside YES get an EZ Flash Definitive edition if you plan to get any of these cards.

So I dumped my gba sharktale,shrek & 2 gba video they are 64mb each Would you know how to get those running on the Ez flash ODE ?? It's weird I cant seem to find anything that shows me how to get it going I know its gotta save to NOR Etc ...idk anymore

Hey the NOR flash only has 512Mb of allowable space, those movies would be way more then this. I wrote a Pokémon TV show & it alone was 256Mb to write it to the NOR. It works after writing it but it's not recommended to write video files to the internal memory for this reason. I hope this helps 🙏

Just in case this flash cart changes in the future which nothing much has changed really lol. The kernel is still the same as well, they haven't needed to update I think as it still works the way it should
