Ez is trying to explain that we have words in our language like "Negros", "Negritos" but those words doesn't mean "racism/hate". Negros is a Name of place here in the Philippines and Negros/negritos are our Ancestors. And we put RESPECT on those things. But there was an issue before When a group of Filipino pop singers was misunderstood because of this. And I'm kinda shock about that issue too. But don't misunderstand us cause we fully know how hurtful racism is. Racism was part of our history. And we ain't tolerating that kind of disrespect. Even our current president called out an american interviewer for being nosy about Philippines issues but they should just focus on the issue about the racism happening in America. Just saying bruh. We use those words with respect bruh. In our language those words doesn't mean hate. It's shocking that in western culture those words are interpreted bad and negative.

The Philippines (where EZ Mil comes from) - as it was under Spain for way over 300 years, has adopted a lot of Spanish words into its native national language (Tagalog) as well as into its numerous dialects in the provinces. 'Negro' quite simply, is a 'descriptive' Spanish-adopted-Tagalog word for anything that’s dark or when describing a person with dark complexion in a very literal sense. That word is also present (with the same meaning) in other Filipino dialects, such as Zamboangeño or other dialects that have more Spanish-adopted words in them than Tagalog. They use the word negro when describing a male with dark complexion, while negra for a female. More importantly, it's not a derogatory word by any means. At least not in the Philippines. Since that is a native word for Filipinos, the moment they move to or visit any english speaking country, they automatically and subconsciously replace that word with 'nigger' as its English ‘literal translation' - if and when literally describing someone's complexion in that country. This obviously tends to happen when they aren't aware of its real ‘offensive’ meaning within the context of any western countries.

Some reactor had difficulty in acknowledging the meaning of those lyrics but you give justice to it. In the Philippines, "Negro" or "Negra" is not racist slur its an ethnicity name means black Filipimo people locally known as Aetas. FYSA: the word "cough" in cough like a newbie, is a wordplay of the word "cuff" (notice that his hands were crossed), hence the words "you're under arrest" after it. FYSA: in the Tagalog lyrics, he mentioned that in the Philippines, it was easy and okay for us to say the word "negro" and call our buddies that word, (kahit sa tabi, bro) even in the corners/alleys, because the Philippines being a Spanish colony, the word literally means black. and the Filipinos being dark skinned and all, were also being called negroes (negritos, short black people) or indio (indigenous) by the colonizers. so that's why, when he immigrated to the States, he was really shocked that black-American people were offended by the "N" word. also, the reason why he composed that bar in Tagalog, his native language, is so as not to offend anybody. he kept it open for translation specially for his international fans. to be translated by his Filipino fan base. FYSA: he mentioned in his lyrics that in his song "Freeze", he has that club music and the dancing in the MV, but you actually have to pay attention to what he is trying to say. the dancing is there to distract you from his lyrics but he did that on purpose to see if how many people can actually catch his drift. catch to what he is trying to say in his video. play that back again when you have time and pay attention to what he is trying to say. i know i have to replay that track multiple times to understand what he meant in that song.
