EZ Stop Disc Brake Conversion Kit Install on 1968 VW Bay Window Bus Single Cab Transporter

My single cab truck desperately needed a brake upgrade. I shopped around and found that this kit was reasonably priced, well-engineered, uses easily obtainable replacement parts (this was key to me) and allowed for the use of the original 14” wheels. I couldn’t find any videos on the installation, so I figured I’d share my unbiased experience with it. I bought the kit on the type-emotorsports.com website for the price shown and have no association with the company otherwise.
If you have a late 1963 to 1970 VW Bus with drum brakes in the front and want to stop faster, I highly recommend this kit.
I’ll be buying another kit for my 65 very soon!

Good video. Do you know the bolt pattern of those discs if you did not want to run the adapters?

Thank you! The rotors have a 5 on 4.75 pattern. Type E also sells this kit with a Porsche pattern adapter.
