Many people think the shooting scene was hilarious but I think like Jules. I am amazed on the ability to acknowledge plot armor of the character. It was 100000% plot armor but it's not ridiculous it's natural. I don't make fun of it but I think it's brilliantly executed.
@badkarma989815 күн бұрын
It's not necessarily plot armor. It sets the divine intervention line but any professional shooter will tell you, handguns are notoriously inaccurate weapons, even at close range, in the hands of an inexperienced user. It would be within the bounds of probability to ramp off six from a Taurus 689 .357 Mag at ten feet, especially rattled and rushed, and miss with every round. Yes it is plot armor but it's not unreasonable plot armor...until you look at where the squibs were positioned at...then God came down and stopped the bullets.

@@Bluemoon4415-s5v No, I think they're from Brett's execution earlier. I imagine Vincent doesn't have the best aim in the world. I'm positive it's Marcellas' soul. Because the combination is 666. So I assume he sold his soul to pursue a mobster career.
@masterofthepeachtea8 күн бұрын
There are a couple of theories about what was in that briefcase, but I think the most prominent one is that it contains Marsellus Wallace’s soul. The theory says that he sold his soul to the devil for his success and prominence as a gangster, and this is backed up by the fact that the briefcase’s lock combination is 666, the Devil’s number, the briefcase emits a golden glow when it’s opened, and Marsellus has a scar on the back of his neck, the place where the Bible says the Devil steals souls through. I have a little something I can add to this theory. Divine intervention did occur when that guy in the bathroom missed all those shots, and it was probably intended to open Jules’s eyes to abandon his life of crime and become the shepherd. I believe it also happened because God needed to make sure that Jules and Vincent didn’t die and got Marsellus’s soul back to him, so that he too could begin his path towards redemption. However, Brett having the briefcase in his apartment can mess with this theory a bit. What Brett and his roommates have to do with the devil’s property is beyond me, but if anyone has their own theories for that, go ahead and tell me.
