Mike Heiser has a Ph.D. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mike has an M.A. in Ancient History and an M.A. in Hebrew Bible and Ancient Semitic Languages. He has taught biblical studies and biblical theology on the undergraduate level for eleven years. This is very simple once you start getting it. The number 4 is to indicate creation that God sits upon because He is in control. The four faces are the same as the four banners when Israel camped in the wilderness, thus they represent His people. The wheel within a wheel tells you it is the Holy Spirit and life. The eyes are individuals. The throne moved like a flash all over the world and an eye on the wheel would be on the ground where ever it went. Thus symbolizing that God is in control and puts his person on the ground where ever the trouble is. Basically it is demonstrating that God is everywhere and has a person to do His will, so is in full control. If you are a Christian then you are that person where God wants you right where you are.

When this event occurs, all cardinal points fall into place mirroring the living creature to the Mazzaroth also known as the zodiac constellations, that parallel to the four living creatures. I thought this would be interesting, until I got to the 25 min mark and saw the drawings of what you think Ezikiel saw. They are not even close to what he describes seeing. He says that each had the appearance of a man: two arms and two legs, and each had four faces, and each had four wings that were connected to each other etc. They each had four faces; Human on the front an ox, eagle and lion. This is where you are mistaken, Each being had a human body and was wearing a helmet, on one side of the helmet there was a communication antenna; (OX) on the back, Eagle; some type of system that fed them what ever they breathed, lion on one side purpose unknown. The wings he describes and how the operated and looked when in operation can only be a four bladed helicopter wing, these being where using back packs of some sort that they could remove, as they did remove them as Ezekiel said they did. they must have been powered at the tips, as he says they had the color of beryl when being operated, which is a bluish color. When helicopter blades are rotating they look to be a wheel and with the counter balance that they have that are smaller than the blades it looks like a smaller wheel within a wheel when they are rotating, and the blue eyes he talks about is the explosion at the tips of the blades that power the blades. When they took off he says they all faced forward and did not turn, but they went in any direction they still faced forward. and he says they controlled the "Spirit" meaning it looked to Ezekil that the were controlling the "Spirit and not the other way around. These beings flew with a helicopter back pack, for that I am certain.

It's true that this is not symbolic whatsoever but a TRUE occurrence of anecdotal evidence by Ezekiel and no doubt anyone also viewing. I saw the same thing when I was 12 in arcadia CA. It's described perfectly by Ezekiel. It went right by me and I CLEARLY saw the orange orb and the wheel mechanism inside. I am one of the fortunate ones to see this... I'll never forget it! Nightingale Amadeus I believe you I was out early one morning at around 3 am taking my dog out. While she was doing her business I just happen to look up and was thinking how beautiful the heavens were when all of a sudden 6 bright orange round speres came across the sky. All in a line one behind the other so fast that if I had not of looked at the exact moment I would not of even seen them.! As they went across the sky one behind the other the first one went up toward space and disappeared and one by one the others followed until all 6 were out of site. It was so fascinating I had to stand there staring I said o myself what in the world did I just see.??? I cannot even get the feeling across in writing as to how I felt. To see something that you have never seen in your life that is way beyond your imagination is just something else. I have no reason to lie either. I do not care if one person believes me. I have not seen anything since. However I can speak to spirits through a spirit box. I have proof I have recordings unedited just as I was asking questions. I have talked to a little boy name Junior one time and I have it recorded I had asked if anyone is here and a deep deep voice by itself came on and said "I Am" that shook me up. My next door neighbor had fell here at our apts and broke her jaw. She was in her 80's and died of pnuemonia the week after her surgery. I had become good friends with her I had found her sister she had not seen in 20 years thank God she got to see her before she past away. This is what I do in a group on Facebook in a group I have called "WHERE ARE YOU? I find family and friends members have lost touch with. Anyway I wanted to know where Anna is her name had fell because no one knew. One week after she was buried I did a spirit box session and contacted her and she told me and I have it recorded too. The spirits told me there are 5 demensions. I know the Bible warns against it but it also contradicts itself stating that the dead no nothing so which is it. I have never had any thing bad happen. Although since I have been in contact with the other side I have syncronosities and seeing numbers 11:11 22:22 and sometimes 3's.

How can this phenomenon be explained, how could the iconography have appeared so long ago among the earliest of humankind, even 10,000 years ago, appearing in the identical iconography seen at the Temple site of Göbekl Tepe in southern Turkey? In my view most secular scholars and even a majority of liberal Bible scholars drastically fail to appreciate the sheer time-scale involving religion beginning at the dawn of human civilization before there ever was any peoples called Israel...when the whole human race knew God. For more than a century, anthropological and sociological theory held that religion had its beginnings after village life was established. It was assumed humans began as hunter-gatherers, and only then, with the rise of agriculture, did humans seek to placate the divine gods for abundant crops. (the silly idea is that these people who exerted enormous efforts to prepare themselves for the afterlife, were blathering idiots, whereas bright overly educated atheists who say there is no God today, are the smart ones: but they shall received propitiation by the shedding of animial blood for their sins, and will stand justified before God in the Great white throne Judgment!!) The ancient people who took the enormous time and trouble to carve and move massive stones must have cared a great deal about religion and the after life, such as we find on this ancient site in Southern Turkey where the latest research of the Temple worship site at Göbekli Tepe recently was dated at 10,000 years BC. This of course was at the dawn of pre-pottery Neolithic before any evidence of the use of fire for cooking, thousands of years before human writing in Mesopotamia (3200BC.) before the construction of Stone-henge (2000-3000BC) and at least 6000 years before the most ancient Egyptian pyramid. All this religious history flatly call this theory into question: everywhere they look in the world (see Hislop and Humboldt), it's very obvious that Religious worship and making animal sacrifices was already a very important part of human life as far back as Cain and Abel who offered the same animal sacrifices to God as primitive people. There are ten generations from Adam to Noah, and ten generations from Shem (Noah’s son) to Abraham. Eber or Heber was the fourth in generation from Shem. All of the descendants of Heber were Hebrews. Abraham was six generations later. Abraham had eight sons, and we don't come to Israel until Abraham's son Issac, the father of Jacob: whose name was changed to Israel. But as far back as the time of Cain, as we are told in Genesis 4: 26 ..."in those days men began to call upon the name of the "Lord" (Hebrew, Yahweh)." So if what you're saying is that Israel didn't know their God Yahweh which their own ancestors have been worshiping for over 8000 years, than I think you are mistaken, and this is no such man-made theology. .

Why read the KJV? It is an inferior translation using English words that haven't been used for centuries, as well as translation errors and spurious passages because the translation committee didn't have access to reliable manuscripts. If you are one of those who believe the KJV is the only proper Bible then you should read the original Foreward to the King James translation "To The Reader". Look it up. The translation committee states that they recognized their work was limited, that a better translation would come along later, and that the KJV is NOT inspired. God expects us to use our mind, to be rational and logical, not a slave to superstition and mindless tradition. Those things have been responsible for most of the religious errors of the past three thousand years.

Jeff Payne Easier in what way? It's old English, with words whose meaning is different from the time in which the translation was written. If the Bible is supposed to be God's word for every generation then it must be translated into the most common vernacular of the day, not hidden away in an ancient language, whether that be the old Latin 'translations' made by Catholic monks, or old English made by people in Great Britain. The New American Standard is best for accuracy, and clarity.

Jeff Payne James 3:1-4 is a good example of the KJV NOT being easier to read than the NIV or other translations (have you checked ALL the other translations for readability in comparison to the KJV? I doubt it). Most translations at times use words that are not commonly used nowadays. Even a translation that goes back to, say, 1960, will be outdated because the English language is moving and changing so quickly now.

Frauke Schmidt As to the usage of "thee" and "thou" etc. I do find helpful, because it gives clarity in some passages whether YOU plural or YOU singular is meant. There's a few passages where that is crucial. Thankfully not too many, as far as I can see. I find it useful to have more than one good translation to hand, plus I feel blessed because I speak more than one language. :)

I don't need to know/speak Hebrew, Greek, or Aramaic to understand the "true" meaning of anything in the Bible. The KJV explains itself. Do a word study in Ezekiel for "wheels" and "rings." The discerning reader will see a physical representation of this in the real world.
