I too always get 10 hearts with Linus first! When I last checked my friendship progress, I realized that I always had higher heart levels with the older people in town ( Robin, Gus, Pam, willy, and Lewis for some reason). The marriage-availables are lying at 2 to 4 hearts on average while I even have Vincent at 7 hearts

@@gracesolis I achieved 7 heart with Vincent after gifting him an iridium grape at his birthday. With the luau of previous two years plus the complishimg of the community center, somehow it just ends up at 7 hearts (so the fact that I'm at 2 hearts with some of the marriage candidates is just the prove of how little I'd paid attention to them 😂). I always focus on setting up my farm and getting the achievements. I think you have to befriend the kids to get one of the wallet item so I was casually working on that.. and for the older married people, they usually have nice recipes.

I'm really liking your playthrough of the expanded mod ezlilyy. It adds more to the replayability of the game. I don't mind the way you say Pierre's name and when you make mistakes when reading stuff out loud. It doesn't bother me at all, because it happens to me as well. In fact, I sometimes call Pierre, "Jean Pierre-y". And forgetting to bring the pickaxe to mines, I can relate to that. I sometimes forget to bring construction materials whenever I go to Robin to build farm buildings.

I love that you're going the Joja route. The was no incentive to go with it in vanilla, and it seems the mod creator decided to give that route a little love.. and by doing so, a reason to go down that path.

You've missed a lot of fun content if you haven't dated or married anyone. You get all the same major perks with the Joja route, but I don't think you get the little rewards that come with each bundle.

Gotta say, while I don't have the heart to divorce Leah or get rid of my kids, I'm not sure there's anything I'd really say is vital there. I guess it depends on what you play Stardew for.

I saved all the stumps on my farm until year 2 when Robin asks for 80 hardwood. I don't have any time to decorate the farm year 1 anyway... just placed stuffs at random places and rearranged them after the stumps were gone

in the settings of the sv expanded mod, you can toggle the fact that the old mine entrance be a wagon leading to the mine (even pre-bundle/joja sale), so you don't have to go all the way to the adventurer's house to go to the mines :D

In regards to the lag: I believe it has something to do with memory. Stardew is a 32 bit game, so it runs out of memory pretty easily if you have a lot of mods, or large mods like SVE. Saving and quitting every few days will keep you from hitting SMAPI out of memory exception errors.

@@ezlilyy Ah, you misunderstand! This is an inherently Stardew issue, not something that you can fix with more RAM. It has to do with Stardew being a 32 bit game, rather than a 64 bit game. Being a 32 bit game means (if I understood my research correctly) that the game can only access I believe a maximum of 2 gigs of RAM no matter how much you actually have. Someone who is more technical than me might be able to explain it better. The tl;dr is that it's a limitation of Stardew Valley, not your computer. If you save and close the game every few in-game days and then open it up to continue playing it, you shouldn't have any issues

@@AkizukiSakura16 32 bits would give a theoretical 4gb of address space, unless there's some funkiness like C# using a bit for memory garbage collection purposes or something like that. But yeah being 32 bits sucks, at least the game almost never takes up more than a few hundred mb

Claire doesn't live in the "mansion", she goes from the bus station, strange enough she uses the bus even before it's repaired. XD And she's not rich, she works at the cashier in the Joja Store, if she was rich, she wouldn't have to work there.

I think all weeds have the same chance for mixed seeds, except for those on the Forest Farm with like spiraling leaves which always give seeds

It seems the mod creator wanted to add incentive to go the Joja route. So there are lower seed prices, more story line around Joja, and Joja community improvements after joining them and buying their upgrades. It makes sense since the vanilla version gives the player no reason to go the Joja path and it shows with just 3.4% of players having gotten the steam achievement for going with Joja compared to 18.7% having completed the CC.
