The casting for Ezra is great. It really feels like Ezra all grown up when he talks

Indeed the actor really captures the essence of Ezra's character but adds the maturity of someone who is now in his late twenties and not the nineteen year old that he was when he didn't just defeat Thrawn on Lothal but stopped Darth Sidious from gaining access to the World Between Worlds since one of Ezra's more unique abilities is he can open the portals to that Force realm.

Even for not being his first rodeo, I feel like they made it look too quick and easy. Building a lightsaber should be a challenging task that requires Jedi level patience/focus to complete. Hence why Vader remarked upon Luke’s newly constructed lightsaber that his skills were complete. Now apparently it’s so easy a youngling can do it… EDIT: And to be clear, this isn’t a Disney rant. Lucas made this weird in Episode II with the younglings and their baby lightsabers 🤦🏻‍♂️

For those who don’t know, Kanan/Caleb (as a youngling) was the one who gave Obi-Wan the idea to send a signal warning Jedi to stay away from the temple in the event of a crisis.

This makes me wonder what became of Kanan's Lightsaber after the events of Rebels. We last saw it in Pryce's office, having taken it as a trophy in a similar vein to General Grievous. However since her office was a part of the main Imperial Command Complex and was blown up, it does make me wonder if the Lightsaber was destroyed with it. If not, perhaps it's waiting for young Jacen to find it.

I never got nor bought the whole brother/sister dynmanic, in fact they behave more like they are in love with each other, yet neither have confessed their feelings, at least as if yet. Despite Ezra's statement in the holo message, Sabine didn't seem to believe Ezra was very honest with seeing her as just a "sister". If that's not enough, the reunion they had two episodes ago spoke a romantic buildup in the future and I feel it's a much compelling and interesting character arc going forward. I could just imagine Ezra's shock at the hopeful realization Sabine is in love with him, which normally would someone like that be the happiest man in the galaxy, but boy, the fact that Sabine had to give the map to Baylon Skoll would really ruin that feeling and it could lead a lot of drama, tragedy and emotion to follow, with Ezra feeling a sense of betrayal to Sabine, who's overwhelmed with guilt of not telling Ezra the truth. If anything, it just make a romantic side story all the more necessary for Sabine's character going forward.

Especially considering Ezra's departure from Peridea with Sabine and Ahsoka now taking his place in exile, it's getting hard to predict how the nature of their relationship will evolve. Will they reuite again? Will they fall in love in the future? For some reason, I think (though, not certian) it might be invetiable. If you look closey at the mural, which was designed by Sabine in Honor of the Ghost Crew's heroics in stopping Thrawn and saving Lothal, you can use that the Lothal Wolfs (which played in a part in the final season) could be Foreshadowing Baylon Skoll (The Black Wolf) and Shin Hati (The White Holf) Skoll is usually depicted as having black fur and Hati having white in Norse Mythology. Could be just a big coincidence or is it some kind of intentional foreshadowing. Not only that, we also what appears to be the White Loth Cat Ezra encountered on his shoulder, which could very well be none other than Kanan and Hera's son, Jacen Syndulla (considering his eyes are blue like his father, Ezra and the Loth-Cat) greatly foreshadowing Ezra becoming his Master and Jacen his apperenitce. Now the for the three brown Loth Cats standing next to Ezra and Sabine, it could be a foreshadowing of them falling in love in the future and having three children of their own.

What are confused by? Ezra hasn't used a lightsaber in years and he knows Sabine will be more capable and protected by using one. He's keeping his friend safe and trusting his instincts in the middle of combat. But, of course he's going to build a new saber once the fighting is done. He has time to and Ezra is smart and knows they'll need every advantage to defeat Thrawn. And a lightsaber in a trained pair of hands is a big advantage.

Huyang and Ahsoka probably found and kept the Kyber crystal on their ship. In the current comics, Luke meets someone on Christophsis who has access to Kyber crystals. They’re hard to find, but maybe not as hard as pre ROTJ?

While I enjoy the prospect of him making a new lightsaber to honour his master for me personally the blade should have been green as it suits Ezras character so much better. Ezra is strong in the force and has a more force based approach as a Jedi so it makes more sense that he would have a green one. Since he fills the role of a Councillor. Blue represents a guardian which he isn’t. I hope now that Ezra is back we will get to see him meet Luke Skywalker and help him rebuild the Jedi order, perhaps Ezra might train Jason As padawan, since they have already teased his force sensitivity. This is a long story and I think it was more show than told. Meaning the fans had to fill in the pieces. Darth Vader destroyed the lightsaber and Kyber crystal that was Ezra's lightsaber. The green lightsaber was a bit of a hodgepodge because it was a saber that was never in tune with Ezra, unlike his blue lightsaber (Think of it like this Blue signifies those that are more in tune with the physical aspect of the force, meaning they are light sided force wielders that are the first to act. Green are for those that are in tune with the spiritual side of the force, meaning they are the second to act and first to try non-physical methods, IE meditation and negotiation). It is theorized that the green kyber crystal was found on the black market. Ezra's current blue lightsaber crystal ... I don't have a clue where it came from but it looks like it has developed a true bond with him.

Ahsoka knew Kanan's old name and told him. I'm sure that Kanan told her during their time together. They had a great deal in common, both growing up at a similar age in the Temple, and both fighting in the Clone Wars. Kanan actually watched Ahsoka perform a demonstration once.

1. Why would he know the name Kanan Jarrus, that's a alias that Caleb Dume took after the clone wars? 2. If he held onto specific parts for people on the off chance that they'd need a new one why do we see so many Jedi get completely new replacement lightsabers? This is the level of ineptitude in modern Star Wars canon, it's basically just lazy fanfiction that abrogates it's own established continuity every two seconds, I swear that nobody actually watches this franchise anymore and all the positive comments repeating the same lines are just a bot network Disney employs to convince it's investors that this shit is working.

Spent time with Ahsoka (whom Kanan met at least once prior to Order 66, so it’s not outside the realm of possibility that Ahsoka was able to deduce his identity), and Sabine. Hera and Huyang are also familiar with each other, and Hera was 100% familiar with Kanan’s old name.

Now, there is a hole in the story, ONCE AGAIN. Kanan was not his real name. It was Caleb Dume. But the Droid said he met Kanan, but he never knew the change of the name, so this is kind of confusing

Hyang said he met Caleb and then described him, maybe he knew that the name Kanan is more familiar to Ezra when he mentioned him again. Pretty sure Ahsoka told Hyang about kanan since she knew him well

FFS It's not a hole, he knows who Kanan Jarris was, and called him a Jedi, and that he was Jacen Syndulla's father. Hera also knows Huyang by name and the official Star Wars Databank page says that Hera and Kanan was close enough that she knew Kanan's real name so it makes sense that Huyang has spoken with Hera at some point in the time period between Rebels and Ahsoka.
