I don’t want to turn this into a Marvel vs DC thing; but this really makes me appreciate how Marvel cast their movies. Sarah Finn finds the right actors based on not just acting and star power, but also whether or not they’re a pleasant and sociable person to be around and she meets them multiple times to determine this. Which is why almost any time the Marvel cast do press circuits and promotion we always get hilarious content, it’s just what they’re naturally like. I think more studios should adopt this method because these big chances should go to good people who won’t squander it.

If they're going to blacklist someone like Gina Carano for expressing an unpopular opinion on her own time and social media accounts, then Warners cannot let this go; and if I were Andy Muschietti, the director, I'd tell the studio not to count on him coming back for sequels unless the casting is changed. We're not talking about Marvel here. Warners could recast or redirect the sequel and most people would hardly blink. After all, the studio just recently reacted to the success of Matt Reeves' non-DCU THE BATMAN by saying that their priority going forward will be to make good movies, not necessarily a complicated shared universe. This FLASH movie has been in development in one way or another for almost 20 years. It's finally been filmed and was supposed to be released in November before Warners' latest reshuffling of release dates. And yet, we've heard next to nothing from Muschietti or ANYONE in the cast and crew about the movie (that has been widely reported in run-of-the-mill entertainment newsfeeds, anyway), except for maybe the two Batmans - Affleck and Keaton. Whatever you think of Miller's acting, he is not a believable Flash. Forget that he looks nothing like the character in the comics. Momoa doesn't look like Aquaman from the comics, but he has a likable persona and does well in the role. At best, Miller would have made a halfway decent Wally West. As it stands, I don't think there are many people that know the character and have taken Miller seriously in the role, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if this factored into why they've got not one, but TWO versions of Batman in the movie in addition to some alternate universe version of Supergirl. Some of it is because of the FLASHPOINT source material, I know, but it's not a direct adaptation, and with Geoff Johns no longer in a leadership role where DC movies are concerned, I don't see anything that obligated the studio, writer, director, or anyone to still do some half-assed variation on FLASHPOINT storyline. Also, insisting that people call him THEY or THEM and showing up in public in ridiculous, gender-bending costumes is not something that I think goes over well with most "general audiences." Whether you believe that, yourself, or think it's true but representative of mass homophobia or intolerance, it really doesn't matter. Frankly, I think that if Miller were NOT queer, he would have been long gone by now - and don't point to Kevin Spacey as an exception because Spacey didn't come out as gay until after the allegations, which I think rightfully angered a lot of the gay community.

As someone who deals with mental health issues and has had a really bad substance abuse issue due to self medicating , Ezra needs an intervention by loved ones, family and friends. Ezra is in serious need of help and I hope that he has real people beside him that truly love and care about him and are not just "yes men." WB needs to take responsibility of creating this work environment of no consequence for his actions and add into his contract that he needs to be drug tested, alcohol tested and must see a psychiatrist and therapist. He is in a self destructive cycle and i hope he finds that help he needs before he hurts someone else or himself

I am a CADC I as well as a Mental Health Specialist and have worked with recovering addicts who have successfully got their lives on track because of an intervention, myself being one. As a addict you feel alone and that you have pushed your loved ones far away and that they want nothing to do with you. But the intervention shows that you aren't alone and that the people in your life weren't going to give up on you even if you have given up on yourself. I would like to know more about your experience if you feel that an intervention hurt you more than helped

Replace him. WB already have an actor for the Flash: Grant Gustin! And he’s amazing as the Flash. He Already crossed over before so he is already established in this multiverse. And it’s the Flashpoint storyline so he can easily just take over , or wake up Freaky Friday style, and be in Ezra’s universe. Keep all the original plot and scenes as is, but just re shoot Gustin’s scenes, and maybe write in one new scene to explain his crossover.
