It's honestly amazing how blind some people can be when they encounter people like Ezra. This guy is super smart and I don't mean it in his choice of words (which was brilliant and for all we know to him it was nothing more than an accessory to complement his outfit, just like you would use a british accent if you're wearing a suit or an entonation as you wish for the pure fun of it), i mean it in the way he sees things and understands them (unintentional wallflower reference). In this world there are people who live inside the bubble unaware of anything else around them and completely absorbed body and soul, people who live outside the bubble unaware that there is a bubble, people who are inside the bubble aware of everything happening but choose to turn a blind eye to everything real happening and then there are people who live inside the bubble knowing exactly where they are, what there is outside the bubble and can successfully remain themselves no matter what happens inside that bubble unapologetically. That's the kind of person this guy is and though with the way he speaks and stuff he might seem like he's got it all together and knows his facts, i'm pretty sure like everyone else with something to say he's merely expressing his opinions on the way he sees the world and humans in that moment, he's aware that he could wake up the next day with a completely changed opinion and he's okay with that, today is today and tomorrow will be tomorrow. It's sad how so many people can misunderstand.

Maturity is not dependent on age. This guy is way mature than most adults, even many old people. Age is just a number here. Its so funny how most people in the world take a lifetime to understand this vague philosophy of life. How beautifully he explains, "every one is dualistic. In fact its not just binary, there is a whole spectrum."
@hahnkf81116 жыл бұрын
Poulomi Hari Well said. I would even say kids are more mature than adults. A child is born with divine truth. They can’t be wrong in their own mind until they start second guessing themselves. Adults know less then kids do. They’re only somewhat sure of a lot of things but forget the fact that everything is all inclusive. Even before Einstein figured it out philosophers knew that everything is relative. The most simplistic truths that you knew as a kid like playing with bugs in the grass can be applied to and infinitely large scale. Most of us spend half our lives fighting adulthood, the skewed reality that was probably planted. By Satan or the Gov whatever you believe, there’s an undeniable evil that’s out there. The second half we spend trying to gain childhood back. When Kevin killed those people, the government was immediately and equally to blame. Especially when you see these shootings happening often. People know there’s something off about their reality and it doesn’t make them happy. (I don’t condone any form of violence. Because it doesn’t solve anything and only causes pain. But It’s none of my business nor responsibility to judge anyone especially in this messed up world)

He is sort of an oddball, in a good way, because he seems extremely smart and the way he says things comes across as somewhat intense, although his voice is more airy. I don't at all like people throwing around the word pretentious. I also think Ezra is very intelligent in many ways, obviously, and I certainly don't label him or call him pretentious. I think there is POTENTIAL for him to come across as pretentious, if paired with his way of speaking he becomes unfriendly or uppity. I certainly hope that doesn't happen.

I love it when interviewers ask questions that they expect short shallow answers from that they can then bounce off more questions from... but Ezra manages to baffle most interviewers so much so that they just move onto a next unlinked question. Sometimes it's a sign of a lousy interviewer, sometimes it's a very intelligent interviewee, but even when Ezra is interviewed by brilliant talkshow hosts and similar it does happen. I think he's right, he said that on the "long term", forgiveness can be considered but only if the person wants/tries to put her mind into it.. time invariably heals all wounds, we get over things & we move on, it's some kind of a choice, either u hold on to the bitterness or u just let go. Besides, forgiving doesn't mean forgetting, it's more like putting the hate behind, u don't necessarily make it up with the person involved, but with urself. Excuse my english, i basically speak french.

While I am understanding of how some could perceive this as being pretentious, I think that he's being honestly stating his mind. He raises some very good points and elaborates on them, and to me seems to be genuinely intelligent. I think that a big problem nowadays is that people are having trouble distinguishing between those who speak for the sole purpose of making themselves seem cultured or better than everyone else, and those who speak because it's what's is sincerely on their mind
