Loved watching you on coverage last week. I like seeing hole ones that ease you onto the course. Music city seems to want to challenge you right out of the gate compared to Jonesboro that gave you more of an open shot but both look to be bonus birdies. Hole 1 should be either pretty easy to birdie or very hard to birdie not in between whitch result in less score separation for getting in the vibe of the round smoothly. Second hole until 15 i dont care. 16-17-18 is where the score separation is needed. Can't wait to see you fallow trought your next win. It's so close we can smell it Ezra.

Old hole 1 at Jonesboro is hard to beat, but the space behind and around it outgrew the growth of the event/sport. New changes will help in years to come, and thankfully they kept most of the holes true to their roots

I've been playing 4 years now and White House is maybe my favorite course in Nashville area, right up there with 7 oaks. Have you been over to Highlands? I love doing Highlands then going over to White House for a day out

Highlands is great and could be turned to a A tier style course if they tried, but honestly if I’m in that area I’m 100% at oggwood generally. White House truly is a hidden gem.

I thought the new hole one at Jonesboro was great. With the ripping wind it was a really dramatic way to start off a round. I wouldn't ever want to play it but it was fun to watch lol

Congrats ezra you been killing it. I wasn't a fan of the changes on last tournament at first not a fan of changing holes around numerically, but it did make for a great start and great finish with that wind, was sad to see my guy heimburg miss fire on 18 wanted extra holes, if he hadnt and if you hadn't putted so scared on 18th it could have been an epic barela heimburg ezra overtime with heimburg the champ........ I'm kidding was a great final day lol

Give me a par 4 or 5 where we get to open up a bit off the tee shot 70% of the time on tour. Make it more ceremonial, or allow the spectators a majority chance to applaud and send off the cards with energy. Usdgc/US Open can demand as much as they want from the get go!

Feel like a bomber hole 1 is fun, if not that then a par 3 with some kind of obstacle. Its not fun to watch a routine layup from every player without any risk involved.

I get wanting 5 at Jonesboro at the end for drama. But the old 18 is an excellent tough hole and score separator. OTOH, lots of drama at the finish this year. 🤷‍♂️ I tend to agree that completely rerouting a course hurts continuity with past events.

If this golf is about mind game, then it shouldnt matter if it's hole 1 or 5 or whatever. I can imagine it does matter and I think it's good, players with better mindset have an advantage. It's different with hole 18, it should be a score separator to make the event more interesting for the fans.
