What you're seeing are residential areas. Nakuru seems to have a bigger population than Kisumu hence the widespread residential buildings

@@christineopiyo7769 by infrastructure I mean build up area, even if your compare both cities from the arieal view your can tell Kisumu has more empty land and Nakuru has a larger build up area, but since is like your favouring your home city i don't think you're understand what am saying

Nakuru should avoid the pitfalls of Nairobi and develop well spaced buildings and functional infrastructure. There is a lot of potential for a nice well spaced clean city. Avoid short term greedy chaotic development like what is happening in Nairobi.

Show us "Bondeni": historically, the first settlement/camp used by trading groups travelling from Pwani/ Coast, all the way to Congo & back , for centuries before the Wazungu/ White British , Colonized the region. " Bondeni"= Lake -side, was the Founding spot for Nakuru(= Place of dust-devils ---ki-Masai). Nakuru is my birth-place,& where I grew up. Lovely town between the Menengai Crater & L. Nakuru. Beautiful!
