I've been organizing my tools by category using those 5 gallon bucket buddies. One for plumbing, one for home electrical, one for automotive electrical, one for drywall, etc. I also have a bunch of clear totes that I use to categorize various consumables and other things that don't fit in the bucket buddies. Works good for me.

I've had this set for several years now. Only use 3 of the 7 tools, the terminal spreader, the terminal puller, and the post cleaner. The terminal spreader i had to grind down to fit because they were to fat. Set is still worth the money and much cheaper than the tool truck brands.

Saw terminal spreaders at work, never knew what it was for until now. You taught me about the tiny screw holding screw driver and terminal spreaders, tools I saw in an old cabinet at work that the last maintenance guy 15 years ago left.

I'm long retired now, but I have a homestead, plenty of tractors and a machine shop/welding shop on the property. You wouldn't believe what rodents will collect! Yes, "shiny" tools were going missing. My brother (who shares the land with me and has his own house on the property) mentioned his tools were vanishing along with his wife's glass ornaments in her garden. Yep, they were found in what must have been an abandoned raccoon den or fortress. Yes, fortress considering the tools were lining the "walls" of the den as to give that hideout makeshift armor plating. We laughed hard when we pictured some raccoon thinking, "Shiny AND protects me from coyotes!" Oh! Hit comment before writing what I meant to write... yes, lost tools get a delay before any action is taken. Sometimes they show up, sometimes the masked bandits find a way to steel plate their own homes. Wait a bit before you go buying replacements (unless you absolutely need it ASAP, but in those cases, you always find the lost tool the exact moment you complete the task)

I have the Mac version of that battery terminal kit. That type of battery terminal cleaner is outdated. The wire brush type works better, but these days it's hard to find a good one. They don't make em like they use to. You might want to shove a few old wrenches into that kit, even a 7/16 and 1/2. Yeah I'd toss that shaver type of battery terminal cleaner and find a black plastic wire brush one. Battery terminal post cleaner tools have become so shitty, I'm thinking about making a homemade one.
@Bosnian.Spartan8 сағат бұрын
9:16 is the only reason the cleaner/shaver and the clamps/terminals are seperated by plus and minus solely because of the size or would there actually be issues to connect a bigger clamp the smaller terminal or...?

@thecontraguy553615 сағат бұрын
21w bulb and two alligator clips. Unhook the negative terminal and go from negative terminal to disconnected negative clamp with alligator clips. If the bulb glows brightly you have a draw. The bulb should be glowing very dimly. Sometimes you have to watch for a long time to see it

That is a speculum. Ironically, the gorilla stretched it out, and you need a speculum to spread it. I guess it depends on the type of equipment one is working with, whether it is metal or pink. This is one of the few things I can do on my 2015 Volva XC60. Those flat ratchets would be handy as they over designed the battery harness by half and it's a fn PITA just to remove/replace the battery. +10 for the review. -5 for insuffiecient toenail stuff. -5 for insufficient angle grider (mis)use. +5 for you being you +5 for pointing out the grommets so I can wear as a loin cloth. ( you're all welcom for that image in your head). -2 from the Russian judges (as req. by intl. law). 8/10 Thank you for posting. There ya go 👍

I've been a mechanic of various types for over 30 years. I've never had the use for any of these tools before except the post/teminal cleaning brush. A terminal puller? Are you seriously going to go get that thing and waste time using it, of course not your just going to use a damn screwdriver or if its really stuck a prybar. Terminal spreders 😭 how about the same screwdriver and a hammer if its still a little tight. Talk about a bunch of tools that your never actually going to use.
