Kind of a meme run is Celeste’s “True Pure Any%” which had a large leaderboard before getting removed. When you start a new game, as with any other category, you are started off in prologue. Then, instead of beating prologue properly, you just go back one screen and enter a cheat code as fast as possible. That puts the file into cheat mode and unlocks everything, as well as registers in the file that everything is complete. The WR I believe was around 4.2 seconds. My best is 4.556, which I grinded for 2 hours to get.

If you ever do a meme speedruns part 3, a good run to include would be the old strat for hollow knight low % NSOOB. It isn't a super interesting run by itself, but times were typically upwards of 80 hours including sleep breaks due to relying on repeated rng. a good summary of the run can be found in the part 1 of veruleans 95 hour long speedrun.

The first Hollow Knight speedrun done in the "Low%, No Load-Dependent Glitches" category took just over 5 days (122h 14m 52s real-time, 95h 38m 07s loadless), most of which consisted of mind-numbingly tedious farming enemies for essence. This required continuously going back and forth across a screen transition to respawn those enemies, which is why there's such a huge difference (26h 36m 45s of loading time) between real-time and loadless. This was the only entry in that category until a few months a _sane_ route was found with a time of 1h30m that was subsequently improved to 39 minutes. The person responsible for the 5-day monstrosity (Verulean) however never ran this category again (or any other for that matter), so it's still on the leaderboard today.

(Its been a joke for a long time that Clint is forever 2nd to ZFG even after he has kind of stopped playing OOT atleast on stream) He decided to give it up after a particularly bad stream and moved around a lot. He is a fairly popular streamer and pretty much everyone knows him or hears about him. Not a big streamer like soda or one of the other "literally can't do anything wrong" giants but still popular and very well known He runs and plays mario 64 now and is notorious for have an all over the place "schedule" as well as taking long breaks. He is a fairly competent speedrunner but most people watch him for the in jokes and his personality. He is also notorious for never finishing runs which also was one of the big reasons he was stuck in 2nd place on OOT for so long. He'll maybe finish one run a stream if your lucky.

If you ever do another meme speedrun video, you have to include Dampe's Valentine. In Ocarina of Time, there was a 10 % chance that Dampe would dig up a heart piece. However, since he can only dig at certain spots of the graveyard and walks very slowly from spot to spot, speedrunners just enter and exit a nearby grave to reset the 10 % chance to get the heart piece on the first spot Dampe walks on. However, in the original game the heart piece will be lost forever if Dampe digs it up and you leave without collecting it. Ocarina of Time 3DS changed it so that Dampe can dig up infinite heart pieces. So on the Dampe's Valentine category, you enter the graveyard with the three heart containers you have from the beginning of the game and then grind 68 heart pieces from Dampe until you have the max number of heart containers possible, twenty.
