Loved the video. I love how easy it is. The unit I have now is a POS. One thing I wish you had measured how far away does the pictures stay focused. I'm in an apartment so it would be helpful to know. I also need it for security. I had a traumatic incident happen to me in my building I need to feel safe again. My Tuya stresses me out, literally.

Modern security cameras can see clearly quite far. If you live in an apartment you should have no problem seeing everything very clearly.

I've found a massive problem with this doorbell... Let's say someone approaches your door but does not press the 'Call' button, because there's no microphone on the inside screen unit you can't speak with the person outside the door UNLESS you have the app on separate device. I'm not joking - Ezviz seriously thought that no one might want to use this as a standalone unit, so saved a dollar or 2 by not putting a microphone on the screen side of the door. Ridiculous! There's no button you can press on the screen that allows you to communicate with the person outside - you will DEFINITELY require another device with their app installed to use this doorbell properly.

You can download the clips through the app. Or remove the SD card transfer them to your device.

Can someone tell me what the minimum range of sensitivity viewing is for this device? Got a neighbour who recently installed it and the cameras red light gets triggered when we open our front door. I assume the red light means it's recording? Is there a way they can black out our front door. Currently in a flat where the neighbour's front door is 1.5 metres away and is directly opposite.

Oh no that sucks. I definitely think you can set motion zones to not trigger when your door opens. Also I think the light is always on (not a recording light) but the light can be turned off in the app.

@@AtHomewithLucas ok thanks so much for that. theyre trying to figure out the motion zones but was concerned when we opened the door and two red lights were on. Can I ask what light would be turned on if it was recording? like the colour and if it's blinking?

Any idea why this device always goes offline despite having direct unblocked access to the wifi router? Distance between router and the door viewer is less than 6 meters.

Try restarting your router (unplug for 60 seconds then plug back in)

I like the camera I bought it but I cannot get it out of the Chinese language when I try to set my phone up any help with that

Just go through the menu until you see some that looks like language. It's not easy, but I did it.

Oh yeah, I just got lucky. I just navigated the menu until i found something that was simpler to language. Is yours in Chinese?

As of now, no, but they are working to get all their cameras to work with Apple Homekit. I believe only one Evziz camera works the E6
