The F-16N was a Block 30 airframe that weighed around 17,000lbs empty and it was approximately 1000lbs lighter than a standard Block 30. The F-16N also had the 'small mouth' normal shock intake, which limited the thrust of the GE F110 engine to about 25,000lbs. While a Block 30 with the 'big mouth' intake puts out 28,000lbs of thrust. Would like to hear more stories from Hornet pilots, especially how they flying DACT. Gonky stories was great, but Hornet vs Viper or Hornet vs Eagle or even Gripen/rafale/typhoon fights from Hornet pilots perspective are very interesting...

I find it interesting that he developed Type One diabetez later in life. Generally its Type Two once a person gets older.
