To be honest this is really making me consider the F-14 over the F-16. I didn't realise the F-14 had any way of conducting SEAD missions. On a side note, I'd love to see the Tornado added to the game although I'm somewhat biased.

Amazing video and revelation Cap. Good presentation. This is the first implementation of a TALD for me in all the combat flight sim I have played. Double thumps up to Heatblur. Anxiously waiting for the Hornet to get her decoy system implemented. Thanks a lot Cap.

Back in the Vietnam War days, the TALD was actually flown by a F-100 crew while the F-14 role was flown by a 2 seat F-105 "F" model. Then the F-105 moved into the F-100 role and the F-4 moved into the F-105 role. When 1991 and Desert Storm came about. There was about 134 F-4G's in the Wild Weasel role, converted from F-4E's. In 1996 the F-4G went away in 1996 and F-4G was the last aircraft in the USAF inventory specifically outfitted for the SEAD role. After the EF-111 Raven retired in 1998, the Navy EA6B Prowler took over electronic warfare role for strike packages.

Cool video deploying those decoys! btw I have no experience with the F14... it bugged me that you looked at the onboard gauges to see your speed... Isn't the speed somewhere on the HUD like in most modern fighters? I'm thinking of purchasing this module... that's why I'm asking!

This is a good tactic to use with some F/A-18 carrying SAMs. Would be nice if the SAMs in DCS would go to stand by and then on again.

most embarrassing thing or stupidity , to create a fighter jet that exceed mach 2.80 maybe , a superiority advance jet to control the skies and compete with Mig 31 foxbat, and to be converted into a bomber ...so what was the point of building it and having another jet like the F18 hornet and the A6 and the EA 6b prowler for bombing runs..and electronic warfare
